For a really good beer with a nice head, it would take months to ferment and condition. I like how the story ends at them making the beer and then cuts to however many months later when they try the beer.

One of the best comedies ever!

I watched this in the theater. I was the only one there and it was in the first week of release! I remember laughing my ass off throughout it, wondering why no one else got the message that they needed to be there, too!

Try weeks. The whole lager-aging thing is over-rated. You can make a damn good beer in less than a month.

Odd, I found this to be a terrible movie and a huge disappointment. I was expecting a return to Super Troopers form.

Hate to break it to you, but Supertroopers is a terrible movie... just as Beerfest is, but that is what makes them great. They are unapologetically rude and silly and don't take themselves too seriously. Same thing with Club Dread which I also enjoyed a lot.

If I were to rate their movies, best to worst (of the ones i've seen), the list would be: Super Troopers, Beerfest, Slammin' Salmon, Club Dread. I haven't seen Puddle Cruiser or Freeloaders, but according to imdb, Super Troopers 2 is coming soon. That, I was unaware of and am looking forward to.
