Michele Bachmann: "A Trap Was Laid" On Hardball

brycewi19says...

She's this year's version of Katherine Harris (Florida secretary of state who messed up the 2000 election).

They even resemble each other with that crazy "pinwheel-eyed" look.

They're both nutso!

OK you cannot call a trap was laid if you claim that you never watched the show you where about to go on. That is like going on a hike and falling off a cliff cause you didn't look at the map, nobody set a trap you are just a tool.

Sorry, but that's a bad analogy. A snare catches a completely unaware rabbit on a trail it wasn't familiar with, but the snare is still a trap.

To make the analogy work: it was a snare at the start of the trail with a big sign pointing to it that said (in rabbitese) "Hi. Here is an important piece of information for anyone who is a rabbit. You really should read this announcement if you are not a dumbass and/or are not wanting to commit a rather idiotic act of suicide. This location is fraught with peril, danger, and risk, and is generally considered a bad idea unless you access all sorts of freely available online materials that show you where you would get killed if you were not cautious. If you do not read this sign, you really are just fodder for coyote food and maybe four keychains." - and then the rabbit chooses not to stop and read the sign.

If Matthews indeed said anti American over and over that is called priming, and unfortunate, bachmann was weak minded enough (at the time) to fall into it.

See derren brown on priming.

Priming works in this way: When some one is emotionaly charged about a situation they can be primed because they do not take the time to think about what they are going to say, they just say it. People are susceptable to this when they are emotional, exhausted, and concentrating hard on other things.

They are not susceptable when they are passive (Not actively using much brain facilities), concentrating on the primer, and properly trained to be aware of priming.

There is a part of Derren's Show where he goes into a subway and tricks people into forgetting where their stop is. he fails to do this to one person, and that person is agitated and is using enough concentration to realize that this bugger is up to no good.

These things work very well, like when you stick your hand out as a gesture to shake their hand and then begin a rapid conversation. This can wipe a slate clean from certain people, salesmen use this as do door to door religions people. When a person actively avoids the handshake, that lets the other person know that their target is on to them, and even more better when the target is on to them and shakes their hand any way!

If I say turkey 15 times in a sentence to you, not all at once, but easily and normally eventually you will say turkey back to me.

Ahh, k, so it's okay to spout stupid nonsense as long as you can blame someone else for setting you up?

Sry, that crap don't wash. I watched the original video, she was so caught up in tarring Obama that the interviewer could have said "You want to lynch Obama" and she probably would have answered yes.

The interview is there for anyone to review to their hearts content. I still firmly believe she had an agenda to push and it was just such a crappy agenda she ended up making herself look like a tool...
