Ask a cop if he wants a donut and he will choke you.

Cop-choking out man. I thought it was hilariously done---like an old, silent film. And you gotta admit, the midget cop is funny.
Lawdeedawsays...

This is a perfect example of cops not taking it to the next level. When help arrived, he released the choke. Remember, the man reached for his gun. Cop was tiring out and that alone makes the response reasonable because of the potential to be overpowered. And there was no stomping at the end.

There may not have been stomping, but it looked like there was some "kneeing" going on.

I actually had a different response -- I was thinking, oh, cool, the one cop subdued the idiot using his training. And then it took five to finish the job (including the kneeing, that was mild or perhaps just my imagination)??? Really?

I'm not complaining. I just thought it was odd.

There is a reason for five-on-one besides a lack of skill. One is so the criminal knows that while he is alone, the Law is not... Seriously, it is not a dual. Gangs maintain fear through the same tactics--unity. Second, the least amount of space the subject has, the least amount of force you have to use on him. In other words, block him off on all sides and immobilize him. On a side note, the kneeing itself may look roguish, but the reasoning behind it is sound. Pain compliance is always safer than trauma compliance. (The tazer uses a similar approach but is more prone to abuse. I.e., if I have to force you to let go of your car door, I may just break your elbow on accident, or harm your fingers or such... Kneeing, when not on the spine, does the same job.)

The one thing I will note is the bald douche who is trying to find a spot where he belongs (Which furthers your point about the five on one.) Dude, just realize that your in the way and back off...

There's no comedy here. nochannel actionpack law fail
Not sure about the "crackhead" tag either. There's no context in this sift to suggest it.

To me the humor is in the irony--but I take your point burdturgler and completely accept it. Not comedy to others--i.e., what one finds funny may not be funny to everyone--so thanks burd.

Just the background on why I did place it in comedy. It's like someone's pants falling down unexpectedly--to me at least. I just think it humorous when someone attacks another person who weighs at least 3X his size; and the man isn't only stomach. If it is in response to a bully or some such, I can see picking a fight. But here?

Add that to where it was done. Definitely self-induced pants down moment. (I would have laughed the same if the midget cop had attacked a citizen the size of the big cop. In fact, I would have laughed harder.)

I guarantee the cop in this situation felt like he was fighting for his life. More weight and in a police station or not, he was alone and the criminal definitely got the drop on him and was going for his gun, like you said. Scary situation.

So Fear would be a good channel? And I agree, he was shaken afterwards and you could see it. It is because everything turned out alright that I could breathe happily.

I love how in the last few seconds you can suddenly see the cop's swagger suddenly switch on..
"Oh and yeah.. just like that, my ol' ninjitsu training kicked in. It's weird, you know.. it's kinda-.. it's kinda like *instinct*.".

In another sift this video would have had the first minute removed with the title, "Man Chocked and Beaten by Six Cops at Public Library".

Actually, I am very happy with the number showing support their support by voting for this video. And dag was one of the first, which shows his balance rather well.

And even though Burg voted against this video--I think that had more to do with my Tags and "Comedy" channel than the actual content. (Which of course we talked about and I believe understand one another.)

I think everywhere you go there will be a clump of people who need help understanding that to hate is to wrong. Center, not left or right. Demand right, not expect wrong, especially if they are (sometimes) your oppressors.

There's been a small rash of cop videos that have a touch of misleading in their titles from a sifter I otherwise respect. My joke in my own head was referring directly to those sifts.

I'm not pro one side, or anti another. Wrongdoing can come from anywhere.. that's why there should be some care in declaring it.

Just looked at my comment and well, I only half finished the thought before beddy time.

I meant to note that the oppressors I mentioned were the bad cops--not anyone here. Lol.
