Apollo 13 Launch Scene

Apollo 13 is a 1995 film portrayal of the ill-fated Apollo 13 lunar mission. The movie was adapted by William Broyles Jr. and Al Reinert from the book Lost Moon by Jim Lovell and Jeffrey Kluger. It was directed by Ron Howard.

Brilliant movie. Also, if you want a good read, check out Failure Is Not An Option, written by Gene Kranz (played by Ed Harris in the movie).

Agreed on the CrushBug. I just I wish caught it when it was released on IMAX!

Colossal scene! Makes me all tingly inside, and I get the same feeling from every shuttle launch. Damn!,what's wrong with me ?

This was the first and last movie that has ever made me cry. I was 13 when i saw it and man its still as good now.
