Experience Loading a Game From Tape

yay! painful yet sweet memories!
Had a Tandy (dungeon of dagorath anyone?!)as my first computer. Some magazines published the codes for some games. Hours and hours of typing... and beware the typos! Then you had to pray that the tape you used to save the program was brand new, otherwise there would be some glitches and you could loose the whole game.

Think i've learned about patience pretty early

You're right swampgirl,
I should be ashamed to judge food only by the looks... Actually, most of the best eats i've had where in semi-derelict places like you described.

Perhapse i've been traumatized by that old "blossom yellow" saucepan I inherited from my mother... and that I threw out last week after 30 years of good services ?

Cars suck, public transport rules, it's obvious

You live in Philly moodonia ??
The kids in my city are a minor nuisance on the bus, no more.
There are of course a few creepy stories that make the news once in a while, but never enough to dissuade people from commuting in public transports.
I will agree though, some bus drivers are quite despicable...

totally agree with you MINK,
In the variables people have to weigh before choosing a commute method, I would add to efficiency "stress" and the inevitable "economics" involved. I can deal with smelly peeps(some chicks smell so good though!`;) )if I can avoid the induced stress of driving and the price it costs to have a car in the driveway.

I have nothing against someone living in the boondocks needing a car to commute.

All in all, considering the CO2 effect, I believe it has to do with the dangerously increasing battle between social responsability and personal rights.

hey swampgirl
the wine he's reffering to is "Sauterne". It's a french sweet wine, usually served with desserts or as an apetizer.

Andouille is great , but that video is sooo vintage it hardly looks apetizing, i mean, look at those 70's colors!

AWESOME extreme driving video

arvana, the numbers are either distances (probably in meters, not sure)or announcing the severity of the next turn depending of the conventions.
So, a "70 left 1" would mean an almost 90degree left turn in 70 meters kinda....

As for the 'maybe' i have absolutely no idea... perhapse the co-pilot is disillusioned about his survival chances??
