I don't appreciate Anderson's grilling of McCance considering how upfront and apologetic he was from start of the interview.

CNN is useless.

I think he's just trying to get down to whether or not he's actually sincere in his "change". As Cooper said, "If you're just saying this because you got caught". He seems sincere though, which I'm thankful for if it's true.

I can't believe people are actually acting like he is somehow being wronged... he is doing the ONLY thing he can do... great he is resigning... he was GONE one way or the other... great he is apologizing... it's the ONLY thing he can do... it is the bare minimum... He flat out says it!... He'll try and run again... he is saving what face he can... and that is ALL he is doing. "Grilling him"... the fact that Anderson didn't introduce him as the inbred redneck bigot he is shows quite a bit of restraint in my opinion.

Can't agree with this more; Apologize for 'going to far' implies there would be a 'reasonable' amount of bigotry that would have been OK. I'm tired of people saying 'Some people might think you are bigoted.' No, it's safe to say you are a bigot. You are a bully. You're way past 'perception.'

I think McCance may have been better off not accepting this interview. Not that I'm on his side...not by a long shot...just think it's amusing how he just dug the hole deeper for himself, and reinforced that he's obviously a pig.
