So do the Gs actually pull the blood out of the brain? Is that what's happening?
deathcowThat pilot takes it in stride when Worf has lost it big time.
deathcowLOL I love the "PC Rebooting Press [F2] for BIOS" look on that guys face when he initially snaps back into conciousness. It's like ...

pho3n1xoh yes dag, very much so. referred to as a 'blackout', the g's pool the blood into your legs. in order to counter this effect, you must flex the HELL out of your legs, and you're supposed to tense every muscle you can in your lower body. usually grunting (as if constipated) helps as well.
usually pilots wear flight suits that automatically inflate in certain areas, to repel the bloodflow into the legs.
the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, and the like do not use G-suits, because the air bladders inside them would repeatedly deflate and inflate. That would interfere with the control stick between a pilot's legs.
conversly, pulling negative G's has the possibility of causing a 'redout' which is due to the blood rushing INTO the brain and the eyes, thus causing the pilot to see red.
deathcowSounds like you would learn pretty quick if you had any circulatory structure defects in your brain.
