The RNSK "Bang! Bang!" iPhone app recreates the sound of several firearms using authentic Hollywood special effects, and will probably get you shot up for real. You even hold it like a real gun.

They sound nothing like the real things

This video has been flagged as being less than 1 minute in length - declared brief by Zonbie.

It doesn't matter if it's recorded in uncompressed DVD audio, the iPhone speakers are poo poo so it'll sound that way.

If anyone thinks these sound effects through the tiny speakers on the iPhone could be mistaken for actual gun shots, they need their heads looking at.
