nsxwolfOh, what ever will we do? The forces of anti-intellectual ignorance are going to triumph! What if some poor child accidentally buys the Ray Comfort version and is converted to Christian fundamentalism by reading the foreword?!
demon_ixI suppose you're right nsxwolf. They probably wouldn't mind if I decided to publish a version of the Bible with my own foreword debunking it's myths, right?
That foreword would probably be longer than the book itself, so they'll really be getting their money's worth!
dystopianfuturetodayThe author of the top mis-linked review has added an introduction of their own:
WARNING: My review is currently showing, among other places, on an edition with a anti-evolutionary foreward by Ray Comfort. Unless for some reason, you actually want the edition with Comfort's foreword, If you are at the edition with the Ray Comfort foreword, I suggest you follow the link that says "This review is from ..." which should take you to an edition with an excellent pro-evolutionary foreward by Julian Huxley (verify that if you don't want the one with the Comfort foreword).

No, of course I wouldn't mind. I'm an informed consumer. I find out what I'm buying before I buy it. I am not a robot that is programmed to buy books with a certain Amazon star rating.
EmptyFriendsays...so is it fixed or what? i went to amazon and searched for "origin of species" and the first result is still the ray comfort version is still the #1 result, but it has a 1 star rating, and shows that 20/21 reviews for it were all 1 star.
seems fixed.

The problem is only partially fixed. They have now assigned the right reviews to the right books, but one major problem remains, that when you are searching for "origin of species" the first result is this fake creationist version, deceivingly and mockingly titled "150th Anniversary Edition", the same as the real version with the Julian Huxley introduction. Even worse, the "Huxley version" is completely left off the results page!
Any honestly interested person wanting to familiarize themselves with Darwins masterpiece should not get this mockery of a book as their first result. It should be renamed "Unofficial Creationist Retard Edition", and be shuffled to the bottom of the deck.
thinker247I don't see a problem that can't be solved by looking up Ray Comfort and Julian Huxley. Hell, if you have half a brain you should recognize the name "Huxley" already.
