These movies kick ass... except for Paul Reiser, but whatever.

Possibly the best "formal" action movie ever made (Die Hard and Predator being close seconds). You can't compare it to Alien, though. The are different genres. Alien is a top-notch horror movie. This is a top notch action movie.
