The US and Isreal coax the Palestinians into having free and fair elections, yet refuse to talk to Hamas when they win. What did they expect Hamas to do then? Sit idly while Gaza starves? So they launch attacks because how else can you call attention to a region that is basically ignored in favor of the corrupt and unrepresentative Fatah government?
