Cool idea and all, it's just the cello just doesn't look cool no matter how you play it

3 out of 4 musicians in this band play cello. Thats a ratio i've never seen before. Especially in a band that can sell out stadiums.

Well, now that was the nastiest bit of cello abuse I have ever seen. Cool!

If you download some songs (Metallica covers) by Apocalyptica you'll hear that most of their tracks are much more melodious and easier on the ears.

look, i can play other styles of music on my cello also!
to me this was as entertaining as "listen to the fun sounds i can make with my tuba *blat* *splot*"

iron horse rocked however.

Used to put a sax mouthpiece onna cornet with Silly Putty...could get about 7 low low register growls out of it-that was fun to play-
All for alternative instrumentation between styles and genres....makes for great music, no matter how full of yourself you may be to say otherwise kids!
