fissionchipsNot even Triumph would have skewered these 'skeptics' so well. Bravo.
Irishman"Let me hear both sides"
Radiohead
OrnthoronThe whole thing reeks of dishonesty just from the basic concept. I mean, exactly 500 sceptics, just by coincidence? It is so obvious that they just picked some Big Meaningful Number and gathered people until they had enough. The same thing happened when the UN report on climate change came out, and exactly 1000 so-called scientists signed a statement of disagreement. How many petitions have you seen with such a nice, round number? Of course, it turned out then that a lot of them didn't have anything to do with environmental science, and some had even been put on the list without being asked.
OrnthoronOh, and therefore: *lies

Oh, and therefore: lies
No, no, no. No proof of that.
siftbotMoving this video to blankfist's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
OrnthoronOk then, but I would say it is a borderline case.

...
IrishmanI don't think any of us have heard and understand both sides of the climate change debate.
Why don't we just put the sceptics on the TV and have them make their case?
Why don't the sceptical scientists just get together around a laptop, and make their own Al Gore style PowerPoint and stick it on YouTube?
You know what I think? I think we all secretly want a huge global catastrophe, just so we can say "fuck it", not go into work anymore, and drive around all day in Mad Max cars hunting gasoline tankers and shagging Tina Turner.
nickreal03says...In science is always expected to be disagreement, this is a good thing. However 99% of scientist already made their experiments and gather their evidence and the have peer review it.
In USA may be hard to tell but I leave in china. When you are here things are 100% more obvious. Over here pollution is out of control and this was suppose to be the #2 country with the worse pollution. I think the USA companies just does a really good job a hiding it.
coolhundsays...DISCRIMINATION (d-skrm-nshn)
1. (Sociology) unfair treatment of a person, racial group, minority, etc.; action based on prejudice
Everyone who loves democracy and freedom and on the same page discriminates these people are the very cause that one day we will lose these things that millions died for.
Congrats.
newtboy^-Hammer hits nail on head
Yes, it was not lost on me that it was not titled "500 climate change denying scientists". It sucks ass that the same people who will answer questions with 'I'm not a scientist' are the one's ignoring and denying scientists and science, creating our policies and leading millions in their "scientific education" on this issue.
It's amazing how people get snagged into conflicts of opinion. I still remember years ago when the "global warming" debate started there was only one scientist ranting on Fox-so-called-News that global warming was not occuring, and this scientist was working for the oil companies. Now we have hundreds of sceptics meeting to discuss the new name---climate change. I wonder, how many of these 500 sceptics are actually scientists?
