I see unions making concessions on benefits and pensions, effectively cutting the teachers' take-home pay by about 7%, but also a governor who wants to break the back of organized labor by drastically cutting collective bargaining rights. Yeah, let's support the guy who's happy to carry water for out-of-state billionaires.>> ^bobknight33:

I see unions fighting to bankrupt the state. Yea, let's support them.

1) Collective bargaining is not a "right".

2) Private company unions are fine...as long as the business model succeeds. Government Motors' union demands were unsustainable, and they should've been allowed to fail and go bankrupt.

3) Public unions' benefits are not merit-based and do not reflect the demands of markets. The benefits are based on how many lickspittle bastards the unions can put in power to give them what they want. It's a legalized conspiracy against taxpayers by this select group and the clowns they elect.

4) Worker rights don't mean sh!t if there's no work.

So, why weren't the banks allowed to fail and go bankrupt after they ripped off this country and threw the world into financial chaos? they got off Scott free with millions in their pockets and paid no price for their crimes. Last time I checked knowingly committing fraud was a crime in the good 'ol U S of A.
