1 Boat, 145 Waterskiers - (A New World Record?)

A group of 145 waterskiers from all around the world have attempted to break the record for the most amount of skiers pulled by one boat in Macquarie Harbour, Tasmania. Not yet confirmed, but expected to be over the next few weeks.

Wouldn't this have been easier if the lengths of the towropes had been staggered so they'd all have more room?
