I'd like to see a clip of all Harrison's "finger of doom" moments, like in the screenshot. He has at least one in every movie.

Heavy Metal was a unique piece of art and should not be put in the same pile as the utter crap that is anything done by Ralph Bakshi.

I liked when he threw himself down and said "Now you think I just fell... now you're gonna come at me and attack me?" Then he breakdances for a full two seconds to regain his feet and during part of that time he was upside down with his back to his opponent. I'm pretty sure that's the moment someone would literally kick your ass.

Heavy Metal is one of my favourite animated films, and this is my favourite sequence. I still find it genuinely scary. Take note of the very effective Elmer Bernstein music.

Games have come a long way. As recently as mid 2000 I was paying US$12.95 per month to play Fighter Ace on the MSN Zone gaming service. There were no texture maps and it was slow, unresponsive, and there was only a single map. Now I can log into Battlefield 2 and get it all for free in near photorealistic detail. It's a great time to be a gamer.
