How to Fake a Court Room Heart Attack and Look Good Doing it

12188 says...

Dude... this video is awesome.
However I can't help but think she's ignoring the impressive relationship between mind and body and that there may be something psychosomatic going on. You know it is possible to feel like you've been paralyzed but have in fact not been injured at all.
Then again, this dude is fucking awesome.

F*CK VIACOM!

12188 says...

I don't think viacom cares about you that much dude.
Boo hoo.
However, if you write viacom they might be able to donate some money to do something about that hellish ass voice.
yes cky

Librarian with "McCain=Bush" Sign Charged with Tresspassing

12188 says...

Oh and nice article about the janitor. People love to do things that they know will make other people angry and retaliate so that when they do take flak for pissing people off they can bitch and moan about how unfair life is.
Yes, life is inherently completely unfair. Boooooooo hooooooooo learn how to deal with it rather than complain about it and suddenly it seems more manageable; what a mystery.

Don't Bully Someone If You Are Rubbish At Fighting.

Internet video sites are such awesome examples of how influential titles are. Watch the same video but change the title to "Kid gets beat up for trying to get his skateboard back" or better yet "Boy gets roughed up for attempting to get his sister's skateboard back from a well-known neighborhood thief."
For most [MOST] people who see this, the entire explanation of the video has been unquestionably fleshed out with a single sentence and without a shred of evidence.
I'm probably the only one who finds that kind of stuff fascinating.

9/11: Mystery Plane (CNN)

12188 says...

On Sept 11 I saw this little kid on the sidewalk playing with a plastic toy plane.
Why has the government not arrested this mastermind? Goddamn conspiracy. I'm on to that little fucker.

Oh Dear God… This Is Our Country

It's trendy right now to "dislike" America and Religion. At one time maybe it was independent thought, but now it's just trendy. Most people can't even come up with good reasons "I just have problems with religion. I just have problems with the way the US handles things."
QM why do you even feel the need to defend anything? The only time that people need to defend the US is when the people who complain actually do something. But right now, it's like someone who refuses to get a new job because they are having too much fun bitching and moaning about their current one.
And find me someone who's never accidentally tried a door that didn't work or was locked because that man is a god.
Oh, and OJ Simpson is black, no one would ever consider him a novelist... duh.
He's our athlete, cause americans have the most unreasonably violent athletes and sports fans in the world, oh wait... damn I can't even type it with a straight face.

German town removes all traffic signs to reduce accidents

12188 says...

Payback, you've never driven in Boston have you. When there aren't signs then I have the right away, ME, because I'm the only important person using the road, duh.
About american bigotry, uh, perhaps you were misusing the term, but.... uhhhh... Germany... non-bigotry? European countries have the most open and free-flowing racism you'll ever see. And Germany.... uhhhh.... ever read history books?
But anyway, I've met some pretty asshole Germans, and some pretty nice ones, and some pretty asshole americans and some pretty nice ones... but that's anecdotal evidence, what you're referring to is obviously much more factually based.

How Meth affects our body

12188 says...

Seriously, drugs feel amazing. I mean if you have never tried meth, coke, or heroin you'll immediately say "oh that's not worth it." Trust me, you'll never in your life experience anything that can even come within spitting distance of a good heroin high. "Not worth it blah blah" Uh huh, perhaps, coming from an ex heroin addict, I can't say that it wasn't worth it... if I could do it again I'd do it exactly the same way. Drugs are amazing. Yeah they have crap sides like meth addiction but seriously, man oh man they are out of this world... if you have never tried any and you make a judgment call on their worth then you are a fool. But yeah, addiction sucks. Eh, c'est la vie.

Hit By Lightning Caught on Tape and the nasty results

12188 says...

Oh my god, please tell me that someone didn't just attribute car/lightning safety to their rubber tires. Tell me you are still in grade school please. It's the metal cage of the car that diverts the electricity around its occupants, has nothing to do whatsoever with the tires, rubber can actually conduct electricity, albeit very poorly. Seriously, are schools teaching science anymore?

Plus, if you've seen an electrical burn, it looks nothing like the picture. Like someone said when you are struck by lightning there is an entrance point and an exit point, both of which are burns, but lightning doesn't "roast" a person. That picture looks more like an acid burn of some sort.
Again, is science not in schools anymore?

German town removes all traffic signs to reduce accidents

12188 says...

AHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAH Let's implement that here in boston! Oh wait, we do, half the time the stoplights get busted and all blink red. If anyone has ever been to Boston during rush hour times that by ten in the intersections with busted lights. Hahahahahaha, man, what a crap idea. I'd love to know their definition of "busy road." Yeah this might work in my bum hometown in NH.
Oh, and "a lot more considerate [of cyclists]" is my favorite part. HAHAHAHA.

Anyway, on a more serious note, this will never be implemented in the US because we are simply different drivers, extremely different. Drivers in Germany practice driving as a solo task, they don't eat dinner, shave, and talk on cell phones while driving. In the US, driving has become somewhat of a background task. Also, German's have strict rules that they follow such as no one, and I mean no one ever passes on the right. It's just the way they are. So yeah this prolly works with them... but not here... HOOOO BOY NOT HERE.
HAHA

Crazy Driver Nearly Killed By Train

12188 says...

Eh, it's probably fake but the proofs provided above are pretty bad. First off the car that disappears actually makes a right hand turn. The sun glinting off the side of the car obscures it a little bit but if you watch closely you can see that's what's happening.
Plus you have no idea what country this is in. I live in Boston and I've seen more than one amtrack crossing where it's possible to weave between the two arms. Just because crossings in your area are designed to prevent this doesn't mean that it's the same everywhere else.
Other than the "unbelievability" (which is hardly grounds for dismissal), I see no evidence that this is fake.
Oh, and look up the design strategies for mass transit systems like railroads. Cameras are often strategically positioned not to get license plate numbers but to aid in proper train management and scheduling.
