The less you have, the more special they are. I think 2 is fine for crowns. In another year or two we're probably going to have six to ten times as many crowns, so having 10 power points would mean crowns would dominate the front page with promotes and qualities while poor probies and lower star accounts would be left to eat cake.

I gotta agree. There are already too many promotes and doublepromotes and qualities and frontpages getting thrown around. You have to scroll about five miles before you can see any new videos, half the time.

I say we give someone infinite powerpoints, a million dollars in cash and prominent real estate on the front page when they hit ruby, because we're not sifting stuff on this site to share videos but to get awarded.

If people were given 10 powerpoints, I don't think you'd end up spammed with frontpages, qualities and promotes. It seems people spread their powerpoint usage out better than that. There are plenty of members here with with piles of powerpoints, but you don't see them promoting 5 videos at once, they'll do one at a time, and qualities for the most part are given to quality videos.

@Kreegath - I hear what you're saying, and yeah, we're all here to share videos not get rewarded. But there's nothing wrong with rewarding people anyway you know? It's just a little thank you more than something to actually aim for.

The problem is that there's nothing else to reward than power points. More power points lead to inflation, which there already sorta is - I mean, look at the front page.
