I have not seem the this show yet. (shock! horror!) But I loved the books, no re-reading them from book 1 and Tyrion is one of my favourites in the books I like the cast they have, this is on my list of get and watch! - Hope they release on bluray/dvd some point I will want to own this

Pro-tip, which is often overlooked:

It is more visually effective to dress up for a protest... lends an air of seriousness, intelligence, and good intention. It can also be psychologically harder for assholes to harass and arrest women in lovely summer dresses accompanied by men wearing well-fitting suits and ties.

... props to the legend MLK Jr. for that bit of knowledge.

Well, it's used both ways, quite often SFX is used for Special Effects comprising both visual and sound.

You can't really say FX on it's own, well you can, but it sounds silly, and if you're trying to say Special Effects it gets shortened to SFX

Oh and SFX is short for Sound Effects, not visual effects which is VFX <---- not trying to be a prick just for future reference

Wieber and Co are always fun to watch, but yeah, their fights are just way too scripted.
In the original RvB, towards the end, they do this slow mo bit and it really highlights the total lack of tension as they just merely execute their practiced moves.


That's basically what I was going to say. The sound and visual effects are great, but too much of the time they just look like they're going through the motions.
