2020 (a parody of the film 1917)

eric3579 says...

2020 has been a hell of a year so far and for me (a Californian) it surely has more to come. Fire season has just begun and Covids second wave brought on by winter months will start sometime soon. Can't even imagine how insane politics and generally all things in America will wrap up by the end of the year. Just SO much to look forward to. Buckle up kids it's gonna be a wild ride. *promote

Yeah, I know I'm old...but so are you, Sifty.

I have to say that it really has been a surprisingly wild ride, nothing like anything I'd have ever predicted. And a fair part of that has been influenced by everything and everyone here.

Thanks to all of you.

And the nomenklatura is still either pretending to not know how much their policies have hurt the plebs, or they actually don't know, or they simply don't give a shit. No matter, result's the same.

France's up next weekend. The darling of the neoliberal elite, Macron, vs the nationalist Le Pen, with outsider chances for our boy Mélenchon.

Better strap in tight, we're in for a wild ride.

Disguised Jeff Gordon Takes Car Sale Person For A Test Drive

Sagemind says...

"The video, which is promoting Pepsi Max, features NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon in disguise taking a test drive of a new Camaro.

Gordon takes the salesman for a wild ride through the Troutman Motors lot, into Philip Morris, including racing along the top of a loading dock.

Racer Brad Noffsinger, who works with the Richard Petty Driving Experience, did the stunt work for the production.

The video was produced by Gifted You, a division of Will Ferrell’s Funny or Die company. About 75 people were employed during the shooting of the video."

George Takei calls out Anti-gay Douchebags.

Bloocut says...

Killing yourself only makes the Bardo experience that much more of a wild ride-Best to kill the shit-think that initiates a chain reaction culminating in the ultimate act of self-abuse. There are some gay uber-douchebags out there, too.

It's gonna be interesting to see how he behaves. I'm pretty much expecting him to knuckle under to the GOP leadership and be a solid party-line guy, but if he doesn't, expect him to be the favorite subject of the pundit-verse.

Mostly, I'm curious to see if he starts objecting to unanimous consent motions in the Senate on things his pappy usually votes no on in the House. If he does, we're in for a wild ride.

Whoa. Real life and the internet life aren't supposed to become one! I fear some 'Time Cop' sort of thing may happen where I disappear from the world now that both have mingled.
Thanks for the kind words. It's been a wild ride. We won some awards.

If I'm out of line, I'm really sorry.

I just thought that coming out of the closet like that was a really brave and commendable thing to do.

Oh! And making the movie...yeah...that was good, too.
