I'm fairly certain this whole movie is a jab at the animal agriculture industry, which also constantly put out 'little white lies' but it could just be my veggie goggles.

LOL! Too funny coming from you after your past comments, you probably don't even realize what you wrote. I believe citizen arrests are investigated like you said, but not the one's made by officers, which you tried to imply. There is no accountability for most criminal cops, and you know it well.

I hate to tell you, but a citizen would loose their job, especially if their job entailed driving, but often even if not, and it costs an average of over $15000. Sounds like some serious strings got pulled for this drunk driving cop to still be employed and only fined <$5K.
You are a repeatedly caught bold faced liar (and likely lie in your 'duties' as a cop, causing irreparable damage to people's lives with those lies), so you have no standing to call someone else a liar, and no, I don't lie even about little things (there's no such thing as a white lie) and it gets me into trouble all the time, so fuck you you whining tantrum throwing baby. My parents raised me to be honest at all times, so I'm no liar, unlike you.

By your own stated rules, because you had no argument against my post so devolved into name calling, you lose another argument...the last one with me, you aren't worth a minute of my abundant free time.

When a racist brings up race in a negative connotation time and time again, they should be called a racist...you trolling racist bastard.....and ignore.

We had a cop who had an accident while DUI. He was suspended, busted in grade, an interlock was installed in his vehicle...it probably cost him over $5000 total.

A rookie cop we had was calling up women he met on the job and asking them out, he was shitcanned immediately.

As for his Rule 3: Why the hell would an innocent persone mostly tell the truth, and not fully tell it?

Why do I tell little white lies some days? I consider myself a very honest person, but sometimes in regard to a particular situation... POP... out comes a little white lie... Why the hell did I say that? Fu** it, I guess I'm stuck with it.

Afterward, I'll think back and try to figure out why that little white lie came out. I had no intention of lying, it just happened. Was I looking for acceptance or just wanting to look better for that new cute co-worker? I guess. It's a mix of conscious and subconscious desires.

Now imagine you are in very stressful situation. The threat (and add on the imaginative threat too) of you going to jail, your life being ruined,etc is sitting right in your face. You really, really want the police to know that you are innocent. POP... Oh, now you're fu**ed. That accidental white lie is now evidence against your good character in court. Doesn't matter that you are innocent, it only matters what the jury thinks because they are the ones that are going to be deciding your fate.

If you are innocent, your story will come out during the trial.

Peripheral add-on in response to the lawbreaker portion:
If you watch part 2 (I know it the comment with the video is after MG's comment), the police officer speaking second says that we all break the law. He gives the example of speeding. The professor also gives an example of that there are so, so many laws that you are sure to have broken one. By strict definition, I think it would be extremely hard to find anyone who hasn't broken a single law.

Of course. Personally, I know a lot of folks who embrace their religion and it 'helps' them a lot throughout their daily lives. But it's a sort of a grand "white lie", isn't it - religion mostly helps them by substituting for a babysitter/moral compass for their kids, allowing to tell dying people they'll be going to heaven just to make them feel better, having a "benevolent" god which "moves in mysterious ways" so that they can pin failures/accidents/toddler deaths on, etc. I am dead certain that if everyone were educated and possessed a level of scientific awareness that of the average scientist, these folks wouldn't need a "god" in their lives at all.
