Spider Attack With Unexpected Plot Twist

Sportscaster responds to racism and hate

I can vouch for the N word being used for unknown black people, but the ones my dad worked with were okay, great in fact.

"I know some good ones" is the phrase that bubbles up from memory. Said grudgingly, as if the good ones were the exception and not the rule. Said defensively, as if he isn't wrong because he can think of ones he admires.

Drove me crazy.

And now he is in a skilled nursing facility that is staffed heavily with folks of color. Many different colors and nationalities. He was a little bit freaked out at first. But hey -- he is getting used to it, and these men and women take such good care of him. His collection of okay, and even admirable, black people has grown by leaps and bounds.

Whew.

To the kind, considerate, and generous individual that proffered this gracious boon, thank you, I am unworthy.

Sorry, however, for the lag in expressing my appreciation. It is good to be free from the black hole. Blacklisted, you know. Whew.

Ah, another RAID (whew, not Raid) victim. My online IRC buddies and I heard this puncture term from a Dell guy earlier today. It was funny.

Those gremlins will always be back.

Yeah, but number-crunchers and bean-counters who work for automobile manufacturers make similar decisions when deciding whether or not to order a recall on dangerous vehicles-At the end of the day, Big Pharma companies decide which facts and figures get the most spin, eh?

Whose to say that nature is not the ultimate winner over human efforts to forestall the inevitable? It's gonna take more than eliminating all disease to get us knuckle-dragging monkeys off-planet. It may very well take humanity as we know it driven to the brink with a number of engineered attempts to preserve life.

Not as simple as everyone playing syringe-roulette kir_mokum, science is not some ultimate panacea-That said, I survived the crap-shoot and will probably never get dip, typhus, or cholera. Whew!

I did however, ingest a Preludin at the age of 18 months thanks to an irresponsible parental unit, early imprints are a MOTHERFUCKER!

Guy gets screwed out of 1 million $ on Wheel of Fortune.

I'm guessing that they would claim he said "corner curio cabnet", which is a normal English pronunciation but technically not correct. (funny to me that on dictionary.com they say it should have been pronounced kab-UH-nit, not kab-i-nit as the second guy said, so they aren't consistent and prove it instantly.) Normally, from my limited experience watching WOF, they would ask you to say the word again if it was a matter of pronunciation, but for $1 million I guess they just say "whew!" and screw you.
