Well, I'm still in the middle of season 3 of BSG - but I'm enjoying the storyline in Terminator much more. The last episode on the submarine was very good and I'm enjoying how they are starting to tie-in to the storyline of the upcoming movie. ... And also Summer Glau.

Methane doesn't last long in the atmosphere because of the excess oxygen. It's not a major long-term threat because of it's effective half-life of 8 years.

^ I liked Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash and Diamond Age immensely. My interest started to falter when he went down the road of nazi gold laden submarines and 1,000+ pages.

I probably should have included Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? in my list. I read it after I saw Bladerunner and realized that as much as I liked the movie it could have been so much more.

For heavens sake She has a point. There are all kinds of military installations in Alaska, including NORAD. There are miltary bases there that have to contend with constant fly bys from MIGS. Not to mention the nuclear weapons in Alaska and long range bombers there. What about the nuclear submarines docked there. Certainly much more russian interaction there then say kansas.
