Every accusation an admission. Hate and hostility are 99.6% of your personality. It’s not 10% of mine. Good thing your head was otherwise empty or it might explode.

“No protesters go near me or my car.” “I might go to Dallas to shoot looters” “I might have to kill a few people on my way to work they are rioting outside my apartment complex.” All posted before he intentionally drove into a crowd of people and shot one preemptively 5 times with no return fire at all from the victim, proven in court with evidence, not on Twitter with lies and fantasy.

They showed he intentionally ran a red light to turn left into a crowd at speed on camera, then shot the first armed person he saw, who it’s been proven with photo and video of the incident that was presented to the jury never raised his barrel you absolute liar. The only one claiming that is the murderer. That’s not self defense, and the jury saw that clearly. Open carry is legal in Texas, seeing a gun is not grounds to open fire….in any state.

It would have been self defense to shoot him because he used his car as a deadly weapon to attack a crowd full of women and children, then again when he opened fire into the crowd he had just violently assaulted.

Come on over…I’ll gladly shoot you in self defense. No MAGA terrorists get near my home. I’ve got the knife to plant if you don’t bring your own, no problem. This public statement that I plan to do it is also no problem…Newsom will pardon me for killing a MAGA nut. Sounds nutty, don’t it? It’s your position, numb nuts, to you that’s self defense, a better case than his.

FACTS-
1,117,054 US Covid deaths.
-Trump’s own CDC said well over 50% were due to Trump’s (lack of) covid policies, so conservatively 558500 on Trump’s hands by his own estimate (I say he could have avoided 100% by not ending the pandemic response team program, or by simply closing travel from China, not just OF Chinese people)
405,399 American ww2 deaths including non-combat deaths
58,220 American deaths in Vietnam
-Total 463600 deaths from ww2 and Vietnam.

558500 dead from Trump > 463600 dead from war…above your math skills?

>1 million dead -32.9%GDP. 13% unemployment - Trump’s legacy
Covid addressed and under control soon, over +3.5-6% GDP GROWTH, 3.5% unemployment today - Biden’s legacy.

I beg you to disagree with any semblance of a point, not just

PS- Thank you Justice pubic hair Coke for guaranteeing the left wins the next election and likely expands the court after expelling Harlan Crow funded fake Democrats Mansion and Senema. Between this blatant corruption and erosion of established rights like a hose on cotton candy, the extremist far right activist court is illegitimate at this point and remains so until it’s cleansed of ANYONE taking unreported bribes and forced to accept ethics rules and independent enforcement, and can be ignored. Nothing requires Biden to enforce their decisions, and they have no power to.

When will you head explode holding all that hate and hostility.
The Abbot pardon is a good thing. Self defense.
The White BLM crack had was pointing his AK47 at this guy.
Shooting this nut job is called self defense.

Shooting anyone is self defense is just fine with me.

AS for the rest of you delusional story ..
" More deaths than WW2 and Vietnam combined, more destruction of the economy .."

don't knwo what to say except you are way off the deep end . Get back on your meds please else you will be shooting someone .

I went on a Rick Steves tour of Belgium and the Netherlands a few years ago, and one of the places we visited was Amsterdam. While there, we were given a good, close look at the Red Light District (which was packed to the tits because the Super Jews were in the playoffs for the first time in a bazillion years). The tour went to a "Coffee House" and it was fulla Brits and Germans. Even totally stoned, those people are fucking insufferable -- loud, demanding, rude -- so I can only imagine what happens when the Swiss cut loose.

How Does Film ACTUALLY Work? - Smarter Every Day 258

BSR says...

I've never processed color film but I've had years of processing Black and White film and prints. My father and I built a darkroom in the basement of our house.

Dad was a historian and published 5 books with photographs copied from old postcards he collected.

He would go back to the same spot where a postcard was photographed to make a Then & Now tour.

Needless to say I've spent much of my life in the darkroom. B/W photography isn't sensitive to red light so it's not completely dark as it is with color film.

Also spent many years doing offset printing from small presses to large newspaper presses. The process is much the same.

Hoverboard On The Street

spawnflagger says...

video is so fake.
why? physics.
(to take off and accelerate from a red light that fast, he'd need a much steeper forward angle, and the "pilot" would have to lean hard and bend his knees to even possibly keep balance, not nonchalantly stand vertical like it shows)

How To NOT Use A Roundabout

spawnflagger says...

lived and drove in Qatar for a few years - there were many 3-lane in and 3-lane-out roundabouts. (also drove in UAE where it was the same). You are supposed to yield to those cars already in the roundabout. Several of the roundabouts also had red-lights (aka "signals", aka "robots"). Left lane is for going left (3rd exit on a 4-way roundabout). Middle lane was for going straight (2nd exit). Right lane was for going right (1st exit). Usually works fine once you're used to it. You aren't supposed to change lanes inside the roundabout, and use your right turn signal when you are exiting (and crossing lanes to exit). If you are maintaining speed and people are yielding and exiting as they should, no collisions.
Trickier roundabouts are those with more than 4 exits, or with additional "slip roads".
On the straight roads, there's no notion of fast-lane or passing lane. But if there's a Land Cruiser tailgating you and flashing their high-beams, change lanes. It's not personal, or road rage, the locals just like to drive fast (and often in any lane in the roundabouts)
Another difference between driving in USA is that green means go, in any direction... whereas in US, left turn is yield on green, unless there's a green arrow.

They certainly felt comfortable that it wouldn’t get out...comfortable enough to lie about their knowledge of her injuries all the way to the top, now proven to be outright bold faced lies.
It seems they thought the cameras had been turned off.

Can we please all agree that a law enforcement camera system with a working off button is not acceptable? That said, I’m all for fake off buttons that only turn off the red light but continue recording.

Covid Deaths Trump Vs Biden

newtboy says...

I thought I addressed that. Travel was also open between states, and many countries with "free travel amongst nations" had no-travel/stay at home orders in place, unlike the U.S., and afaik, mandatory quarantine for all international travelers.

Again, because he eradicated the international Global Health Security and Biodefense unit, I can legitimately ascribe every single non Chinese death and most Chinese deaths to his actions directly. A pandemic on this level WAS foreseen after SARS, Ebola, and Swine Flu, it's why we created the GHSB. It's why we had a pandemic response plan that Trump completely ignored and actually denied it existed for months and months.

I also am going by facts. My facts say that at least four things Trump did against professional advice took us from prepared to minimise any pandemic to at worst a foreign epidemic to a place where months after pandemics start our leader denied any danger and made no moves to stop it.
1) Eradication of the GHSB, missed opportunity one to have zero US cases and avoid a pandemic completely.
2) Repeated early public denial of the danger while encouraging others to do the same and go about business as usual, missed opportunity two to have zero US cases, and a missed opportunity to minimize any spread if quarantining travelers (something else he failed miserably to even consider early on) failed.
3) Encouragement of those who trust him to ignore all mitigation efforts, don't mask, don't social distance, don't shut down non essential businesses, don't close schools, don't listen to medical professionals....missed opportunity number three to minimize US infections to thousands instead of hundreds of thousands. Remember the many months he said grandma would gladly die to get people back to work, pretending many months in that only feeble octogenarians get sick?
4) Denial of a prepared response plan, never following it and claiming total ignorance, missed opportunity number four to follow prepared plans based on science from day one, missing the opportunity to keep our infection rate at S Korean levels.

That's four well researched and vetted moronic, irrational, and irresponsible mistakes he personally made that multiplied our infection rate by 100- infinity times (if we could have had zero without his multiple massive and stupid mistakes, which is not just possible but likely, he can be said to have CAUSED every single US case, multiplying our infections by infinity.). There were more, but I'm beating a dead horse.
Remember, his real plan was natural herd immunity, with an expected 3-60 million deaths depending on who you asked.

I say if intelligent decisions could have avoided all US infections, and that's undeniable IMO, you can lay the blame for as high a percentage as you like on the leader who made bad dangerous decisions out of pure narcissistic ignorance and hatred of his predecessor...up to 100%. 80-90% still seems like I'm coddling him, at least two failures could have made cases zero, and others minimized it to under 10% of what we have. All four I listed almost certainly allowed >90% giving every doubt and giving him all possible credit....so yes, I'm satisfied I'm not exaggerating.

Obama's responsible and responsive planning and execution stopped Ebola from ever spreading here despite it making it to our shores, and it was FAR more contagious and deadly. Had we had Trump then doing the same things, there would be tens of millions dead and likely still spreading disease, imo.

Edit: let me try analogy...If a mayor removes the stop signs from 4 way highway intersections, they are responsible for every wreck that happens, even though other towns with stop signs still have wrecks at intersections. Trump pulled the signs, removed the flashing red light, and cut first responder funding, and claimed there never was a highway code to follow and he takes no responsibility for the jump in highway deaths.

Mordhaus said:

The EU has open borders and free travel amongst the various nations if you are a citizen of a member nation. I will agree our per capita death rate is higher, but still (based on the well researched Lancet study) you cannot lay more than about 40% of the deaths at Trump's feet. I don't deny he could have handled the pandemic much better, but it has been some time since we have had a pandemic on this level. Multiple leaders have handled it differently and time will eventually label them for the history aspect of it.

I go by the facts. Not conjecture, and not opinion. I also don't consider Birx to be even remotely a good source since she rode down the trail willy nilly with the same person you are blaming all the deaths on. I will never trust or vote for Trump again, but you cannot lay the percentage you are proposing on him solely. Just like we cannot move Biden to almighty status for his handling of the situation when he is currently running a similar death rate on par with the same time last year, WHILE having massive vaccination.

Has he made steps that have helped? Certainly and I would say he is definitely doing a better job than Trump, but by your own admission almost anyone could. The fact of the matter is, as I said last year, you cannot fight a pandemic like this without having the martial law like power China had or being in a situation to isolate yourself from outside contact.

BSR says...

Correct. Hope this helps.

You will be driving very slowly – usually 30-40 mph on roads, depending on the normal speed limit, and no more than 55 mph on the highway.

You will need to stay close to the car in front of you in the procession – do not allow room for a vehicle not in the procession to cut in. (Emergency vehicles excluded)

Stay in line and with the procession at all times – even if means you are going through a red light at an intersection. Local traffic ordinances give a funeral procession the right-of-way, and other motorists must yield until the procession has passed. (Emergency vehicles excluded) Do not leave your place in the procession line unless there is an emergency.

The last car in the procession will have 2 funeral flags and will also have hazards lights flashing to signify to other motorists that the procession has ended and that traffic may resume.

Once you arrive at the cemetery, a cemetery attendant will lead the procession to the gravesite or chapel, and the funeral attendant will collect the flags from your vehicle.

Do not tip the lead driver.

Dr Drew's Horrific Coronavirus Advice Compilation

eoe says...

When I bike around town and some asshole almost hits me with his car, I oftentimes catch up to them at a red light. I usually knock on their window and ask them to be more careful because they almost fucking killed me. Politely. But usually a little bit of adrenaline behind my voice because, you know, he almost killed me.

Sometimes they tell me to fuck off. But 9 times out of 10 they say they didn't even see me and that they're sorry. And honestly, even though they almost killed me, sorry makes a lot of the hate go away.

Can one of these pigfuckers please, for the love of fucking god, just say, "I was wrong. I'm sorry that I underestimated the breadth and deadliness of this disease. Please listen to other sources of information. I'm obviously misinformed."

But not one yet. Not a single one has admitted to their inaccuracy. Not even good ol' @bobknight33.

Grreta Thunberg's Speech to World Leaders at UN

newtboy says...

Actually, I'm selling their audience short. When real scientists present the real data dispassionately, I think the average person gets quickly confused and tunes out. Those that dumb it down enough to be understood invariably underrepresent or outright misrepresent the problems. With so many unscientific voices out there trying to out shout the real data for their own purposes, real scientists fudging the data is near criminal because it's only more ammunition for deniers.

Yes, if you or I heard them lecture, we would likely hear that and even more, but the average, unscientific American would hear "taking in more energy than is leaving" as a good thing, free energy. If they explained the mechanisms involved, their eyes would glaze over as they just wished someone would tell them it's all lies so they could ignore what they can't understand fully. These people are, imo, the majority in the U.S.. They are why we need emotional delivery of simplified science from a charismatic young woman who knows her stuff.
Edit: For example, I had read the published summaries of the recent U.N. report saying we had 12 years to be carbon neutral to stay below 1.5degree rise, they were far from clear that this was only a 50% chance of achieving that minimal temperature rise, or that we only had 8 years of current emission levels to have a 66% chance, still bad odds. I understood they were also using horrendous models for ice melt and other factors to reach those optimistic numbers, and didn't take feedback loops we already see in action into account, nor did they make allowances for feedbacks we don't know about yet. The average reader only got 12 years to conserve before we are locked into 1.5 degree. They don't even know that's when known feedback loops are expected to outpace human inputs, making it exponentially harder if not impossible to turn around, or that 1.5 degree rise by 2050 likely means closer to 3 degree by 2100, and higher afterwards.

Mating habits for European swallows?! How did we get from the relationship of climatology and sociology to discussing the red light district?
