Most people who own cayennes wouldn't know off road it bit them in the ass. What they want is a big, powerful, luxury family car. I picked a 5 series as an example, but you could have a merc or whatever else fits in that category.

Either way, the point is that cayenne is an expensive "worst of all worlds" car.
A 5 series is a better sedan, almost anything is a better offroader (I'd actually go for a Hilux over a defender) and there are plenty of cheap nippy roadsters that will handle infinitely better.

DON'T LIFT THE THROTTLE! Argh people who don't understand physics never fricken get that lifting the throttle transfers weight forward.

This is especially true in a Porsche or MR2. If you lift - you die.

You're right of course. Flash sucks ass but let's face it, Jobs' decision was first and last a business decision in the same vein as it's a business decision for Apple to continue using that ridiculous and crappy proprietary 30-pin interface for their iProducts, rather than a nice standardized USB one.
