Whataboutism...the refuge of the desperate.

As far as I know, neither visited the island, but Trump is more likely to have based on their respective relationships. Clinton rode in Epstein's plane a few times, Trump rode in Epstein's plane a few times, partied with him for decades during his pedophilia spree, hosted multiple parties for Epstein including those attended only by Trump, Epstein, and underage girls, and Epstein had 14 phone numbers for Trump.

Clinton has not been accused of any specific sexual misconduct connected to Epstein. As for Trump: During the 2016 campaign, Trump was sued by an anonymous woman who claimed he raped her at an Epstein party when she was 13 years old among various other accusations of sexual assault now numbering >25. However, several journalists who dug into this allegation back then came away voicing caution or downright skepticism, and the accuser withdrew her lawsuit shortly before the election.

So there hasn’t yet been corroboration of Epstein-related wrongdoing on Trump’s part by media outlets, or any accusation against Clinton at all.

Lol....He only finally kicked him out in 2011, >4 years after he pleaded guilty to multiple child rapes and being accused of dozens upon dozens of others, and we now know his abuses never stopped....but that didn't bother or surprise Trump one bit until >4 years later when Epstein started being publicly accused of recruiting multiple young girls at Maralago to be sex slaves while he was visiting Trump and assaulting them on the premises. Did you even read what you linked?! Holy crap!

What about Bill Clinton?
Of both how many times did they go to Epstein island?

Anatomy of a Viral Lie, COVID-19

Wow....after 3+ years of multilayered overlapping scandals, any one of which would have ended any other leader's/politician's career, you still believe something exists that could turn his cultists away? You think far more of humans than I do.
I tend to think that if he was caught red handed in bed with three fourteen year old boys, suddenly homosexuality and pedophilia would be perfectly fine with them.

The Paedophile Agenda

C-note says...

This guy has many problems. The main flaw in his argument is his attempt to try and associate pedophilia with LGBTQ. Only individuals with an extremely low IQ, high religious beliefs and a devious agenda can follow him down that line of thinking. Most republicans can accept racism, but even the red state of alabama drew the line at pedophilia by not electing roy moore. It was close but america is not accepting child molesters for now.

The Paedophile Agenda

Mordhaus says...

The problem is that for Pedophilia to be accepted, we have to completely throw out age of consent. The same with Bestiality, we have to accept that animals like to get fucked by humans without being able to give consent.

The ancient civilizations didn't 'allow' pedophilia, they simply didn't recognize the same age of consent/idea of consent that we do. It wasn't just 'ancient' people either, even today societies around the world view consent differently in regards to when a human can reasonably give consent .

This is a spurious slippery slope argument because in most civilized, non 3rd world nations, age of consent is well beyond the age that pedophiles typically target.

Bill Maher - Milo Yiannopoulos Interview

newtboy says...

How's this?
Milo fired/resigned from Breitbart for his pro-Pedophilia statements...specifically when he said it was not abuse when he had sex at 13 with adults, not for his defining the word. I don't believe for a second that this was his decision alone. If, as he claims, this is only about haters bringing him down, why did they wait, and why is he giving them what they want of his own accord? He's not, he was disgustingly wrong, he knows it, he apologized for the first time in his life because of HIS interpretation of his own words, and goes on to pretend it didn't happen and is just a witch hunt.

I did miss the spot where he mentioned he was 14 years old, could you point that out?

Bill Maher - Milo Yiannopoulos Interview

newtboy says...

I've known many 14 year olds, male and female, that had not reached full puberty, I was one. Some had not even started it. I admit, he did say he thought the law had set the 'line' at the right place, but went on to say that many 14 year olds and even younger were fully prepared for sex with adults and at least implied that it would not be immoral to have sex with them, just illegal. He didn't say how one would determine which were ready and which weren't that I heard....I guess trial and error.

Language is alive, and the meanings of words change, like it or not. When the common usage is so common that the actual definition is almost never what's meant when using the word, it's time to amend the definition. That's different from one generation who misuses language constantly out of laziness in their thought processes...most educated people at least know what literally means, even if they accidentally misuse the word more and more often.
Common usage today of "pedophile" is not limited to pre-pubescent, it includes mid-pubescent...in fact Merriam Webster's primary definition uses the word "children" as does the medical definition lower on their page.
The top googled legal definition is listed as...
Pedophile Definition: A medical condition causing a sexual preference for young children. ... A person afflicted with a serious mental disorder, a mental abnormality known as pedophilia, a sexual perversion in which children are preferred as sexual partner.

I think any of those definitions would/should include many if not all 14 year olds in most people's minds.

...but I don't mean to say that you aren't technically correct, the best kind of correct. ;-)

Most Americans literally can't use the word literally right to save their lives. That doesn't change the actual meaning of the word. Same with pedophilia. Males are biologically programmed to be attracted to girls who have reached puberty, it is not a psychological disorder to be aroused by a 14 yr old in a bikini. It is for a 10 year old. If that impulse is acted upon, one is an antisocial pervert, the other is mentally defective.

In that video, Milo helpfully defines pedophilia, AND YOU STILL GOT IT WRONG. Stop lying, please.

Now to what he was actually talking about: criminal law has to have a stark, black and white line to define an age of consent. I don't see what's wrong with arguing that line is imperfect and some younger people are capable of giving it. I wouldn't go so far as saying that would justify breaking the law. But morally, there is no difference between screwing a minor a day before they turn 18 and the day after. In reality it might very well be completely legal in the next state over.

He is an idiot for even touching this third-rail topic and his jokes about the Father are tone-deaf but maybe that has to do with his British upbringing.

Sanders wrote an essay on the sexual dynamics between men and women 40 years ago, it's nowhere near the same as trying to legally meddle in people's private bedroom activities.
I also recall no mention of pedophilia in that video you linked to, I would be interested in hearing where you got the idea that he was pro pedophile.

Understanding The Pedophile's Brain

newtboy says...

10-15 IQ points BELOW AVERAGE?!? That means gorillas and birds may be more intelligent.

If this study is correct, and pedophilia is a brain disorder, that means by law we need to excise all pedophiles from prison and put them in treatment/mental hospitals. Suddenly, prosecuting pedophiles is a violation of the American disabilities act.
Putting people in prison/to death for physical deformities is not what we do in a free society.
I hope these findings are a step towards an effective treatment.

It does seem that we, as a society, are so disturbed by their actions that we create restrictions for them on release from prison that invariably put them back in, restrictions like where they can live, work, walk, who they can talk to, often not allowed to use computers, etc. It seems to me that if we're going to hold their crimes against them for life in that way, we should maybe simply make it a death penalty crime and quit pretending we think we can rehabilitate them when we don't really think that.

the nerdwriter-louis ck is a moral detective

JustSaying says...

I'm 'offended' by the word 'offensive'. There is no easier, quicker way to prove you're too lazy or stupid to actually discuss and analyze a difficult subject matter than saying 'You can't do that, it's offensive!'
Joking about controversial or simply horrible things may not be emotionally safe for everyone involved but you can not watch Luis CK and expect he won't bring up stuff like rape. That's some risky stuff, sure. It's very easy to become cruel or sadistic with this but if you look not just at the intent but also the perspective of the comedian, it'll become clear that it is surprisingly empathic. Not only does Luis show empathy for the perpetrator but also goes further and analyzes the motives.
Comedy is a tool to analyze and understand subject matters. It takes intelligence and brutal honesty to make jokes as successfully as Luis does, especially when discussing issues like pedophilia.
That's why I laugh about CK's rape jokes but get angry when a guy stands on a stage and just says 'Wouldn't it be funny if somebody raped you?' to a female heckler. One explores a topic and tries to understand it, the other is just being a cruel asshole.
There's a reason laughter isn't a common sound in churches. Good humor often deconstructs what we tend to understand as unqestioned, common knowledge. It reduces kings to mere humans, prophets to popular madmen and gods to fairytale characters. 'Offensive' is the word you use when you're not pious enough to shout 'blasphemy'.

The Terrifying Truth of Childhood Technology Addiction

Payback says...

I'm sure parents would feel safer if pedophilia came with mandatory capital punishment.

00Scud00 said:

Ironically most parents are so terrified of what "might" happen to their kids when they are out and about these days that they are happier keeping them home with video games and the internet.
An environmental psychologist studied how far away from home kids would go to play 30 years ago and then compared it to now and the results were pretty stunning.

Whoopi Goldberg Defends 10 Surprising Things

MilkmanDan says...

...And one more thing that I think is interesting:

In many cases, even if it is 100% proven that somebody did some very bad things, I don't personally think that should (necessarily) negate our respect for the good things they did.

Michael Jackson may have been a serial pedo, which is pretty damning in general. BUT, *that* doesn't make his music bad, or make people who like his music bad.

Cosby almost certainly did drug and have sex with a whole bunch of women, without their consent. That is a very shitty thing to do. But it doesn't make his impact on comedy any less real. It doesn't make The Cosby Show a shitty TV program, that I/we should feel ashamed of having enjoyed.

OJ Simpson almost certainly got away with murder. I think that makes him a scumbag, but I can accept that many people think/thought of him as "OJ Simpson, running back, actor, announcer, etc." rather than "OJ Simpson, murderer". And even though I personally dislike the notion that he got away with killing people, I can watch video of him playing football and appreciate his undeniable talent, or watch him in The Naked Gun and still chuckle.

Sports figures like Barry Bonds and Lance Armstrong are a different story, at least for me personally. Even though doping or using steroids isn't even remotely comparable to the objective badness of pedophilia, rape, or murder ... those two guys were respected specifically for their sports accomplishments, which they "cheated" to obtain. For me personally at least, that completely invalidates those accomplishments, which were pretty much the only reasons to look up to them. In the meantime, I might think that OJ is a terrible human being, but at least I can still respect what he did on the football field.

Maybe that is a weird distinction to make, but it makes sense to me, anyway.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Transgender Rights

ChaosEngine says...

Do whatever the hell you want with another consenting adult or inanimate object.

I don't care how good kids or animals look to you, they can't consent.

But honestly? I think you're just trolling and trotting out the tired old slippery slope of "if gays then bestiality and pedophilia."

shang said:

I'm a hebesexual or hebephile, but while I'm born this way same as gays and tranny's, I'm demonized.

when will all sexual preferences be given full and complete rights?

You can not choose your sexual preference we are told.
if that is true and you are born that way then all sexualities should be given legal rights.

political correctness only wants lgbt to have rights and not the over 100 other sexual preferences.

very intolerant group. Political correctness is a disease itself.
