Thanks Dag. No, none of that other stuff you mentioned. Not even sure what it is, but this just adds to my suspicions that Sifty is messing around with my votes again. I've recently been upvoting videos that I could have sworn I had upvoted before.

Hi Aresenault - I've removed your downvote - send me some examples of other bad votes, and we can look into it - any Thunderbird, Night Train or Yukon Jack in your recent past?

I think its only decrepitude if you drink them regularly... sadly, I have tried none of them, and my beloved Boone's Farm is not considered a Bum Wine *sniff*.

I had the same reaction when I first discovered the site too. The sad thing is, I've had 3 out of 5 of the Big Five they listed: Night Train, MD 20/20, and Thunderbird. I'm just 2 wines away from decrepitude. I guess I better go shopping for refrigerator boxes soon.

thanks for the link to bumwine.com... best laugh I've had over the internets in a while!

Priceless. Give that man a Siftie, goddammit!

PS: Is there an award for the sifter whose name appears most often in the award categories BESIDES dag? (Mmmhmm...ME!) Hey, selfish-bastardism is a hallmark of the Sift. I'm not immune. If I can't get a t-shirt, do you have VideoSift thong bikini? I wouldn't mind wearing it and dancing around in front of a floor-length mirror. (Sorry, joedirt. Don't mean to bring back any traumatic memories.)

Man, the Thunderbird is really starting to kick in. G'night.

Ha, nice analogy.

mormonism = ripple

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ripple_(wine)

AN old tv sitcom here in the states was Sanford and Son. Fred Sanford's favorite drink was Ripple. Fred would often combine Ripple with other drinks, for example, Beaujolais Ripple = "Beaujolipple" or Cream soda Ripple = "Cripple" or Champagne Ripple = "Champipple."

scientology = night train = yuck !

I agree with the point that the only thing that separates a cult from an established religion is time. It's like a wine that matures- it tastes harsh when it's young but gets more palatable with time.

Mormonism is like the $10 bottle that you wouldn't be embarrassed to bring to a dinner- but it might have screw-on top.

Scientology is a $2 bottle of Night Train.
