And gwaan, keep up the good work man, clearly there are many in the western world who need to better understand your chosen faith.

If you want to, feel free, a number of other people have been doing so as well... the link to the host should be in that thread somewhere, I believe Thylan linked to it, it's on gawker.com. But Gawker, has vowed not to remove it as it feels that it is newsworthy and that the Scientologists can go fuck themselves (that's pretty much what they said on their website, Gawker is awesome!), so I think that for now it should be pretty stable, until the lawsuits start flying anyway (although this vid did just appear on 20/20 last night as well, so the church very well may give up at this point)... but it will probably be up on Gawker for a lot longer than anyplace you could upload it to, even with fake title and tags. A lot of the sources I used initially did the same thing (one was called "the borg"!) yet the Scientologists were able to find them... so either they know about us and they followed the embeds to their sources, or, as I've posited elsewhere, Xenu has implanted chips in their brains or something that makes them all wet themselves each time the vid is uploaded. Whatever their methods, they're astoundingly quick to respond, and I imagine they issued a fatwa of sorts to all the big hosts and have threatened them to the point that YouTube and Google pretty much automatically removes them now.
Thanks for offer though.
In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
Give me the embed for that video, and I will host it for you with fake title/tags. There's too much good humor in there to let it die!
In reply to this comment by raven:
I fix it for you! *lies
Also, would someone please do me a favor and throw a promote at this thing... put it back to the top of the Sifted list so more people get a chance to watch it before Xenu and his minions find our new source code?

thanks but its gone already... sigh... them scientologists are quick... must be the chips they undoubtedly have planted in their brains, makes 'em wet themselves or something whenever a new copy of that is posted. Oh well, thanks again.

Sorry your latest attempt at a first sift got you blogged again, you might want to try and sift something non-videogame related until you get that P off yer back, the association is catching the attention of the self-link hunters... wait until you've got a sift or two under yer belt before you indulge in obsessions. And welcome to the Sift, btw.

Ah... Planet Unicorn! Heeeyyy..... see, now that, unbelievably, actually makes me laugh, unlike the puppet terrorist, which is just lame.
In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
I've been using it for a while, of course my membership is about as old as 3.0, too so I don't know. Either way, that along with Unicorn planet need to stop being sifted.
In reply to this comment by raven:
Hey, cool, good job getting this search all lined up, I wasn't aware we could search discarded vids now, must be a 3.0 thing.

Hooray for attempt number eleven!

I totally know what you mean and I sympathize, sometimes while trolling through Google I'll stumble across a film that I love or is totally important to a point I'm trying to make, or, as was often the case with the HorrorShow, I just thought was plain awesome... So I felt kind of bad discarding your sift, but sadly, rules are rules and copyrights are a bitch... as for that version of Animal Farm, I think it was made for TV several years back, perhaps as a miniseries, I vaguely remember watching it, but not in a theater.
In reply to this comment by Fedquip:
Thanks Raven, you're right...sometimes I just get excited, I had actually never heard of the adaptation before today... I always thought it was just turned into a cartoon.
In reply to this comment by raven:
Hate to be a narc... but full length films that aren't public domain are against posting guidelines... sorry Fed, I know its a great novel, and a commentary pertinent to the times we live in, but... guidelines.

Nooo! Don't feel like a moron... I just thought you should know.
In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
Yeah, I know. But it was a quick grab+paste.
I already feel like enough of a moron. I only wore that damn thing for three years. I always messed it up with the sea service ribbon, which looks very similar.

Actually, the service ribbon I have on the avatar already is the GWOT Expeditionary ribbon and the one in your photo is the regular GWOT Service ribbon.

In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
Raven, here is a suggestion for an avatar. I like what you have there, but I thought it should have the GWOT expeditionary ribbon instead of the regular GWOT. Any moron in the military gets the GWOT, but you have to actually go somewhere and earn the GWOTE. Also, I thought the combat action ribbon would be good.
(p.s. - they are in order of precedence)

Yeah, I photoshopped that image for a contest we held this past summer (I think it was before you started posting), and yeah, the text was half the fun as I love the old Horror flicks of the 30s, 40s, and 50s, and the fontage from their posters and previews are fantastic! It was a blast to imitate them, so thanks for noticing.
In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
I just dropped by to say that I finally stopped over at your channel, and I was very impressed with the Fortnight of Fright image. Is that something you made? I just thought that the text on it was great, and totally goes with the genre.
And unless I'm just an idiot, is that a new color scheme? Looks great!
