Trans women must go through years of hormone therapy; supplements, hormone blockers, sometimes even surgery to be able to compete. In many leagues they must never go through male puberty. They cannot, as you clearly think is the norm, just put on a woman’s swimsuit and compete with women, then whip their dicks out after competition and go back to being macho men. Your insistence on keeping your head firmly encased in your lower intestine, in the dark, listening to yourself echo through your own fart chamber is what lets you believe such utterly ridiculous nonsense.

Bad town to be homeless in-Homelessness for me would find me at the first week without a roof in a city with a relatively mild, year-round climate with a resident population more amenable to the cause. In the Deadwood series, Al Swearengen used to call Trixie a loopy cunt....Always liked that phrase after that for calling-out a flaky or unreasonable chick.

I thought it strange that the cop is touching Zimmerman without gloves on. You would think he'd have blood on him and the cop would not want that on his hands. On the red coat you wouldn't think it would show up on camera, but that grey shirt it would. So either he had no blood on his shirt and the jacket closed, and that cop stuck his hand in blood while checking him.......or there's no blood on him at all.

You do see the cop wipe his hand on his pants, but that's after he checks Zimmerman's back, which would be wet or have dirt on it if he was in the grass.

I see no bandages, nothing in his nose to stem blood flow from a broken nose. There is a point in the video where the light catches the crown of his head and you can see a line that may be indicative of a scrape or abrasion, but he would have a bandage if it were bad. The paramedics had seen him by this point, and he chose not to go to the hospital.

If I had just been brutally attacked, I'd want to go to the hospital and not the police station. Since the head beating was supposed to be bad, you don't know what the hell may have happened.....unless he was knocked crazy and was loopy from the beating. Which they would have made him go to the hospital at that point.

I also find it strange that they didn't take his clothes.


And for those whom are following the case, there's news out now that the police wanted to get an arrest warrant for manslaughter for Zimmerman, but were denied by the Attorney General. The expert the news interviewed said it was unusual, but not unheard of for an AG to not take police recommendation. That AG has recused himself from the case and they've put someone else in charge of the decisions now.

I suspect Joe Oliver was let into the press to make Zimmerman look better, failed. So now Zimmerman's father has come into the picture realizing it looks bad.

When I had my teeth out, I apparently was resistant to the general anesthetic they used. I made it through the entire "Count down from 10" and my dentist didn't know what to do, so he had me start counting back up again.

Eventually I was knocked out though, but when I woke up, much like @PHJF, I was completely aware of everything. Wasn't loopy in the least. They figured I was bluffing, so they helped me down a hallway to a room where I was supposed to "Wake Up". (Probably helped me so I couldn't sue if I fell.) And then proceeded to leave me there looking at a wall for 15 minutes before anybody checked up on me again.

When they came in the second time they said "Are you awake now?" In a bubbly voice, to which I very flatly replied "Just as awake as I was 15 minutes ago, thanks." Felt bad about that later, but ffs, I was fine.

Unfortunately, my surgery didn't go as well as others. My mouth was very swollen (all 4 out) and the painkillers they gave me afterward didn't do anything except for make me drowsy. So, in a sense, they worked when I was sleeping, but I was in excruciating pain while I was still awake, finally had to get better painkillers.

Tl;Dr, The whole operation sucks.

A politician was specifically singled out at a political function. By that very fact, it can't be apolitical.

The word "non-partisan" is a better fit, but firing a gun at a politician sounds pretty "partisan" to me.

He was clearly not right in the head, but also pretty clearly, he wasn't completely loopy. As much as the media has joked about "government using grammar as mind control", that's exactly what was going on in 1984, which was on his favorite book list.

Also, there's been mention of him burning the flag. Well, in his Youtube videos he explains that the flag isn't in the Constitution, therefore it's meaningless.

As much as the right likes to act like flag burning is something liberals do for fun, what does it mean if it's burned in protest of it being unconstitutional to even have an American flag?

He also talks at length about currency, and there he sounds like an Austrian economist -- the Fed is manipulating currency to control us, and the solution is that we should just individually create and use our own currency instead.

All that said, I'm perfectly happy to say that nothing about the above makes "the right" directly responsible for what happened. I think he had sterner stuff than cable news driving him nuts.

But I will say that the delusional nightmare he fell into is very much like the one the right is always trying to sell these days. The government is evil, all powerful, and coming for you, so get your guns, you "might" need them.

Do I think they should stop pushing that dystopian picture? Yes, and I always have felt that way. Do I think this is a good time to say so again? You betcha.

Do I think the left generates a significant chunk of the noise that adds heat to our debates without adding light? Sure. Does the left have a similar dystopian vision that they're constantly hammering home? Maybe. If so, ours is presented with non-violent calls to action and a kernel of hope that it's not too late to make a difference, not a call to lock and load, build a bunker, and your only hope is that you might survive the inevitable apocalypse.
