Ever see a cuttlefish turn on its camouflage?
Imagine a zebra doing that... wow. That'd be like, whoa.
Man, I'm hungry. This textbox is crooked. No wait, I'm not sitting up straight. But colors, man, they rock.
Child's Invention Defies Gravity
>> ^Tiver:
As fake as it is, it would have been so much more believable if they didn't have him riding perpendicular to the ground.
Or upside-down.
The point was not to fool people into believing it was real, but give you that one second child-like "Whoa! Really?!" like you may have experienced as a kid when someone told you the hoverboards from Back to the Future are real.
It's clear purpose is for kids to get excited about submitting inventions, and this sure is a good way to get their attention.
I wonder about anyone who actually gets upset and downvotes upon realizing you can't ride a bike on a wall with suction cup tires. It seemed cute and funny to me.
Russia and Georgia fight, casualties ensue :(
Heard a crazy interview with BBC radio and the Russian (almost wrote Soviet) foreign minister, talking about how Georgia had "raped" the agreement they had in place, etc. etc.
I was like, "whoa, choice use of language there, buddy..."
Hackers (Blog Entry by 10444)
Love this movie, seen it many times. Especially because of the young Angelina Jolie with some actual meat on her bones (she's much, much more attractive that way). I remember before she was who she is now when I first saw her and was like "WHOA! That's the chick from Hackers!"
The only thing that bothered me, that would bother any computer person I'd imagine, is when they're hacking they hack via a bunch of goofy graphics floating around. And yeah, very funny about the "Whoa, this has a 28 dot 8 bps modem and 16 million colors???!!!"
Can't wait for the day we look back and laugh at a quad core at 4 Ghz with 4 gigs of ram.
Deal or No Deal: Queen of Obliviousness
^ If it were a guy he would have noticed right away. The internal dialog would go something like,
"Whoa, 21 is totally into me, she's always smil... hey... she looks a lot like Brenda... omfg... I have to call Brenda after the show I found some bimbo that totally looks like her."
Paul Shaffer Asks Julia Roberts a Forbidden Question
So was that a yes or a no?
I'll assume it's a "no", otherwise you'd get a knowing smile or something.
Funny thing is seing her niece Emma - it's like, "whoa, doppelganger!"
And, well, *femme
Downvote Abuse - Could this be a solution? (Sift Talk Post)
A chill-out feature like, "whoa cow-boy, wait a minute" could significantly curtail abuse.
No need to be draconian and impose 30 minute time-outs. Just something simple would help.
Let's say you queued up 3 videos, watched them all, THEN (down)voted. Weird habit, but if that's your style, the 1-minute limit wouldn't be too extreme, and you wouldn't be needlessly stifled from expressing your opinion.
And the most damage someone could do if they went mental with the downvotes would be 100 downs after 100 minutes.
There's almost a downside to it: since they're doing it over an extended period of time, if it is malicious, it'll be much more insidious and harder to spot than, dare I name it as such, a "downvote of passion".

Yakko Warner: Nations of the World
I love this. I remember seeing it when it was on the show for the first time. I was like...whoa, I wish I'd recorded that...
and...was it made before Russia broke into so many pieces? I thought that was before animaniacs came out.
Supercooling
my bad i was having a blonde moment. somehow the mouse must have moved out and clicked without me realizing it as i can't duplicate the error so anything's possible (shadow people?) ALSO: i'm sorry comment system for questioning your sexuality. big huge avatars aside, i don't think you're truly homosexual but was using gay in a way that is the opposite of the old usage 'happy'. kinda like, "Whoa that brand new 83 camaro is BAD!!!" (bad as in good) My 'gay' call was misdirected obviously it was my fault. again, sorry comment system. (nice avatars though FAG)
on topic: low solute ie. distilled water, answers my question. so if i put a bottle of nestle still life water in my freezer it doesn't freeze into a block as long as i don't agitate it?

The Devil's Rejects Trailer
yes, it was a rough one to watch... especially since I'm not usually into people on people violence (I'm more of a monster flick chick)... my brother and I got out of the theater after this one and we were just like, "whoa... I don't think I need to see anything violent for a good month now... I'm good."
Military Green with Orange Highlights VideoSift, We Hardly Knew Ya. [sniff] (Sift Talk Post)
Having used preview mode for like over a week I at first didn't notice something had changed... then I was like, "whoa, something has changed."
Sweet!
