Kill the fake echo. Would have been 70.4x better without it.

Actually it's called reverb and I think it's used well here. Mayhaps a touch too wet but overall well done.
Best of all, though, this chick doesn't have her glommy, skeevy boyfriend clapping, playing drums, and injecting his tired, formulaic bullshit in the song. Yes, Pomplamoose, I'm looking at you.

I like some of Pomplamoose

I did too, until about the third or fourth video of clapping, quick-cutting, and kooky chord progressions taught me all I needed to know about the 'Moose.

Anonymous says the end of the Bill of Rights has happened

honkeytonk73 says...

>> ^Edgeman2112:

Oh cmon now.
The senate passed it, but the house hasn't voted yet, and Obama strongly objects to this which makes a veto likely. The bill is not law. Stop playing the fear factor or I won't take your seriously every again.

The video states that it currently is not law, but it is on its way to potentially becoming law. It provides details of what the proposed law is and why it is a threat to our civil liberties, and effectively states that as citizens it is our right to stand up against the injustices of our government. As citizens it is our duty to be informed voters.

While their screwy video production makes them look quite kooky, the point they are making is very valid. Unfortunately the average US voter is too busy watching the 700 Club to bother researching and understanding the issues that affect our country in any detail beyond a propaganda laden sound bite. This video does serve its purpose. To help bring about awareness. We are discussing it in some manner, so in that way it is a success.

It is a responsible citizen's duty to understand, and research an issue thoroughly and to come to one's own conclusion. This video does one thing. It brings about a dialog that the US corporate propaganda laden media establishment will NOT start in any meaningful way. With any luck, it will help encourage the average lazy uneducated US voter to use that thing in their head called a brain and to stop taking everything on 'faith', and become participatory democratic citizens.

In a Democracy, when we stop thinking. When we start trusting our government without question. When we stop protesting our grievances as our constitutional rights grant. Then we have lost our Democracy. We might as well hand over the reigns to a dictatorship.

Why you should be republican (Election Talk Post)

Lawdeedaw says...

Not tweaked at all--at you that is... I find the atheist very endearing. Like when he tore apart feminists in his other vid... However, here he is just a hyperbolic dickhead. He sounds crazy, crazier than these kooky evolutionists by far.

Cancer is life. Steak in front of my mouth is life. No one gives a fuck about life when they use soap... Okay, so Paul and others forget to use the term "human" before "life;" but any educated gentleman can realize that it is highly implied.

In fact, his whole argument about the cells (fetus) being a human "one day," and being a parasite that should be decided by the caretaker is batshit. I agree cells are not human beings, so I agree with abortion-—but I also note that fully formed human bodies are not humans just because they grew to maturity or are popped out of a vagina. A comatose person with no chance for recovery should be allowed to die if their caretaker demands it…but then the angry atheist’s argument goes way further than that… I guess brain-dead shaken babies are fucked in his book too. After all, babies shaken by their parents, those who are unable to even move are just a bunch of useless cells that don't form a human by any intellectual concepts, motor skills, emotional thought-process, etc… He seems to be arguing that it's okay to bust a cap in their heads--but of course when you take away my hyperbole, he is not. (It was what he argued for by his own “superior logic” and didn’t realize he was arguing for it…)

I think he should, pardon the language again, stfu and use less hyperbole. If he does, I will.

Now, when the atheist basically calls me retarded, and generalizes me as being up Paul's ass, then I have problems with him. You know that's not the case Netrunner, but this guy does clearly state it and you stated that you agree with every word he says... (Oh, I even admit Ron Paul is wrong!? But that's as believable as creationism in this guy's book!)

http://www.conservativesnetwork.com/2011/07/12/ron-paul-wrong-on-abortion-its-a-human-right/

(And, unlike most conservatives, Paul is opposed to the death penalty and admits changing his mind after DNA testing freed many. So he does care more about “human” life than the angry hemorrhoidist claims.)

On a side note, I talked with my friend, an ultra lib if you will, about two subjects. 1-Most liberals think they are right because they are right so often that they won’t ever come to realizing they are wrong (Most conservatives just don’t care.) And 2—if your party is arguing about stupid bullshit with itself other while the other party leads this country to its demise, are not the “intellectuals” the dumber group because the should know better?

Ron Paul "We Just Plain Don't Mind Our Own Business!"

A perfect example of why this man cannot be President. Does he really think of the Iranian government (militant nutball-run theocracy) as merely the shortest kid on the softball team, intimidated because everyone else is taller? The kookiness is mixed in with the common sensical good things he says like rat droppings in rice.

TBH, as long as they just nuke their neighbors, who cares! We could sell the glass and solve the energy crisis.

yea I don't believe this global warming crap.

when I was in college we were taught about the solar cycles decades of warming and cooling and we are right on track.

lot the political correct morons wanna lump people who dont believe in global warming with religious or militia/conspiracy theorist just to demonize those groups to the public.

political correctness is the worst thing that has ever happened to this world and needs to be eliminated.

anyhow the kooky hair scientist on periodic table of elements doesn't believe in the global warming media propaganda either, we are in the earth's normal cycle of warming and cooling thanks to dear old Sol.

While I mostly agree, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find atheists that approach the WBC level of kook. That's a special kind of crazy.

You ever been on youtube? I'm not going to get into a battle of nutjobs here, but I'd be happy to direct you to a couple privately.

Shiny, I am not saying that you are wrong here but I am wondering if you can provide any specific examples of atheist kookiness? Now remember, this can't be general kookiness, it must be kookiness that is specific to atheism.
Please provide the source where possible.
Thanks

Where's shiny to tell us how loving and wonderful Christians are?

What, you don't think there are any atheist kooks out there? I just don't have the poor taste to try to make a spectacle out of atheism by dredging up the lunatic fringe. I have the intelligence to realize that those people don't represent atheists as a whole.

Star Trek: Worf on Religion

Yeah, and because Worf is an atheist and therefore cherishes life more than those kooky religious: in First Contact he was ready to ram the Defiant into the Borg Cube, which wouldn't have damaged the cube in the slightest but sure would've killed everyone on board his ship.

Ron Paul says what he believes, I'll give him great props for that. Some of the time he gets it right and he's the lone voice of sanity in the wilderness. But a LOT of the things he says are just kooky, that's why he doesn't get elected. He believes that things like the BP oil spill would be LESS likely to happen with LESS regulation. He thinks that the free market will do a better job of regulating than the government can do. He's a loveable nut, fun to watch and like I said, sometimes, like now he gets it right.
But for President? Are you crazy?
>> ^coolhund:
I also think he speak 100% the truth and how it really is. That he doesnt read his speech from papers indicates also that he means it.
So, Americans, why doesnt he get voted for?

Let's be honest now... I will tell you why he never gets elected, even though most of us know and just deny it. We love our drama--Paul is boring in his decency. We love our ambigious policy. How dare he state his beliefs against the death penalty, or that states should regulate gay marriage and abortion instead of the federal government (That is to the republicans...) And how dare he state his beliefs on currency and true deficit reduction and such... (To democrats.)

Paul is not a poster child and will never be elected president by a people who love the staple... We are fat because we want to be, lazy, double-standard, ignorant---and we transfer that to the polls.

Now, I do not agree with Paul 100% either, I think he is perhaps 70% right at most, but him versus Sara-idoit Palin or Barrack just-like-every-other-pol-Obama?

Find me a person 10 times better, and that is Paul. Find me someone better than Paul---and I will vote for him. Now his son... I could cry...
