What do you do for work ? (Talks Talk Post)

You people work and sleep some crazy hours!
@lucky760 how can you work till 3am then get up at 5:45am? I would not be able to cope with that.

Yes, it definitely is really tough. I am so desperate to go to bed most nights and I have to fight hard against my brain and body to stay awake, but it's my role in life to suffer so that my family doesn't have to. Sometimes I start to feel I am Jack's lost mind, and once or twice a week when I really start to get delirious, I'll very regrettably hit the hay at 10pm without getting any work done that night.
High doses of caffeine late at night doesn't work any more even though I don't consume it any other time of the day. I sometimes (jokingly) consider getting on drugs to help me stay awake. Instead, I hit the deck and give me 30 push-ups to rev my heart back up. That's usually good for a 30 minute boost (one minute per push-up).

Just. Wow. Sift can we do anything for the @lucky760 ?
How much more sleep would you get if I chartered now?

Conan & Jaguars: Aren't they cute if not lethal!

Darkhand says...

Jaguar Kittens are cute but seriously WTF was that other animal.

When I see species from under the ocean that I don't recognize, I can understand that. Maybe even really small Mammals. But I thought I saw it all when it came to large mammals and that binturong or whatever was just wow.

Driver Uses A MATCH To Look Into His Gas Tank.

Wow just wow, greed wins again, seriously did he really have to make sure he could fit every last drop of gas in his tank. This is why topping off isn't a good idea. Those pumps stop at a certain point for a reason.
LOL and really what did he think would happen?

I think greed is the wrong term. It's not like squeezing those extra drops are free, you still pay for it. The reason topping off a gas tank is a bad idea is because gasoline expands and contracts with temperature. If you could fill your your tank up completely on a cold night and let it sit, when the temp warms up in the day the gas would expand and spill out. To prevent this, gas tanks have an expansion area in the top. When you remove the gas cap, there should be a little spring loaded thing that closes a valve to this bubble preventing you from completely filling the tank. When you put the gas cap back on, it presses the valve and re-opens the vent letting the gas expand into the bubble if needed. Some cars even have a sensor on that valve that will trigger a check engine light if you don't fully tighten your gas cap.

My car runs on diesel, but to save money on installing a different fuel tank for the diesel version it still has the same tank as the gasoline version (except it has a wider opening to fit diesel nozzles). Diesel doesn't expand like gasoline, so you can safely fill a diesel tank up to the rim. There's a little trick you can do on my car to remove the spring that leaves the vent open and fit an extra 2 gallons in the tank. People like riding with me on trips because I don't have to stop and fill up so often. Most of the places I regularly have to go I can make the round trip without a fuel stop.

Australian police use civilians as roadblock

You know i told myself there just HAD to be more to this story when i saw the title... then i watched the video... and wow.. just wow... Has to be one of the most irresponsible uses of authority i've seen in a long time. Really just incredible.

Yeah, when I first started hearing about it, I thought they were leaving out pertinent information, but nope, the head of police tried to make it sound like it was a 'rolling blockade', but it was most definitely not, the cars were stopped for a couple of minutes, at a standstill, when the car crashed into them.

They'd been tracking the guy for over a hundred kms, how could they not have had time to get out countermeasures or do something else other than just park a bunch of civilians across a road?

Unless you are feeling masochistic, skip to 8:40 for INDISPUTABLE audio of REAL, LIVE ANGELS speaking to this most holy of men via what sounded to me, admittedly a card carrying member of the vile atheist movement, like a loud rattle from an air duct.
Bonus hilarity when Hinn mistakenly asks his sound engineer to "play it again" then quickly corrects himself by saying "Lord, do it again Lord! Do it again!"

Wow, good catch. It's actually a bit further along than 8:40, but just wow...
