Not talking about the guilt of the United States and their use of the fucking A-bomb man, talking about their current dysfunction relative to their oppressive history of their version of feudalism and leadership under the Samurai, Shogun etc., and primarily their treatment of females and the leftovers of tradition that shape the current Japanese paradigm-Sure, their utter defeat and cordon from the west shaped their face the last century, but their history of isolation (by choice and circumstance) their take on other cultures, relationship to the Chinese, etc., and their obstinate deleterious sensibilities that's causing the younger generations of Japanese people to forego breeding for a whacked morality devoid of hope. They all need serious therapy and true, a lot of it lies in the way they internalized their humiliating defeat in WW2.

Love Japan, can't stand the way they are still so out of touch with the whole of humanity. They need to start breeding or their culture will be assimilated.

I didn't think this video was an attack on Japan. He says that since Christmas isn't even really a Japanese holiday, one can't complain that it is merely a consumer fest there. He says that the same can't be said for the U.S., where Christmas can often seem to be just an excuse for rife consumerism, but whose holiday it is supposed to belong to, it being a Christian country and all.

You're right, his message is that Japan is a wacky place, but this is not a negative idea in itself.

The fact is, that from a western perspective, it can be a very strange place and since most of the Japanese videos that have been posted to videosift, get voted for because of their wacky nature, I think that it's safe to assume that this is a commonly held perception.

I love Japan and Japanese people. I have lived and worked with them in some way for the last 25 years. They are not immune from taking the piss out of each other, or their own culture, either.

I love Japan....It'll be too bad if it sinks...all those tube amplifiers, Fender strats, and Harleys' into the icy Pacific.
