Conan O'Brien Full 60 Minutes Interview

BicycleRepairMan says...

>> ^dag:

I think Conan feels the same way. You kind of get that in his "don't cry for me" embarrassment at the amount of support he's received.
>> ^BicycleRepairMan:
It sort of disturbs me how people seem to feel sorry for Conan as if he was an earthquake victim on Haiti. He is a multi-millionaire comedian who hosted the freaking tonight show and can do whatever the fuck he wants and get a TV show whereever the fuck he wants. boo-fuckin-hoo he didnt get the tonight show as long as he wanted.
Ok, I am on his side on this too, but come on, this is just business, kids, and there are literally millions of people who suffer, and I mean really suffer, because some people thought of the bottomline before anything else, but Conan isnt one of them. Its millionaires swapping TV-shows. Come on.

Yeah, I think so to, But Steve Kroft and others ought to know better

Bush Wipes Hand on Clinton's Shirt After Greeting Haitians

If you see the full version you see this edit is disingenuous bs.
Bush wanted to move along and he tapped Clinton on the shoulder followed by that gesture. Clinton is known to hang around and shake hands allot, Bush is known for wanting to stick with the schedule so they say.
There's so many things that make Bush a terrible man, why trash him when he actually does something good like help raise funds for Haiti?

That's so much nonsense. It's CLEARLY a wipe in the full version too. There's hardly any difference.

Not that i care beyond wanting the truth to be stated.

I mean...it's like you and, oh, somebody from Australia are going to run the joint.

Choggie!

You and Choggie telling us what points we can spend and which we can't.

Is it any coincidence that we had...yes Haitie...and yes Chilie...what next?

I ask you: what next?

The happiest people i know don't watch TV, and don't read the news.

All news is FUD. Fear Uncertainty and Doubt. We have to watch hour after hour of suffering in Haiti so we can be sympathetic. But why? Why do we have to watch their suffering? Who does it help?

All entertainment is about watching one train wreck after another. It's all about the fail, we want to see the losers lose - that's what makes it fun.

It's pretty hard to be positive if you're brain is always soaking up the negative.
