After the hype runs down the coffee will just end up like the lame printable cake "frosting". I'd rather the resources go towards making better coffee.

I saw one similar to this on a television show about 5 years ago. Also you should of seen the mens room at a train station in France I went to in 96 it was transparent without any kind of frosting mechanism when you locked the door. I couldn't do it and had to use the ladies which was not transparent.

Never seen this kid before, and my first reaction was to be disappointed that he was pretty clearly not reciting something he had come up with himself. On the other hand, I guess the non-Kid President has a teleprompter and speech writer also.

The "Mpemba effect", hot water freezing faster than cold water, is not currently well understood. Some possible explanations are (summed up from above reading).

Evaporation of hot water is a heat transport method out of the main body of liquid, causing a super cooling effect.

Convection currents in warmer water might spread around ice crystals faster.

Frost effect will tend to cause a generally slow freezing from the top instead of warm water from the bottom and sides

None of these give a full account to the phenomena and each has been individually ruled out as the sum total of the effect. Some myriad of factors or some basic lack of insight into thermodynamics is most likely the culprit.

The short of it is...no one really knows.

Gloves are more dangerous than bare hands when pouring.
When handling in a bath, yeah, gloves....but not when pouring. Leiden-frost effect makes sure your hands stay toasty warm.

as an american, i'm pleased to report that you can watch the inspector frost series on netflix, but i donno how to get this series
