Sesame Street Meets Underground Hip-Hop

Coolest guy at the boat ramp

I was wondering if it separated, but I couldn't see the lines in the video (although the thumbnail does show a decal distortion) and these days all sorts of people are creating vehicles and run on land and water, but the front end certainly didn't look like it could do proper buoyancy. I wonder if that craft is custom built. Def some money there.

The most important thing to have when it hits the fan is a community. No family is going to do well without the help and support of their community no matter how many guns and bullets you have. Gun ownership in America is over 40% I think (or close to that) - so EVERYONE is going to be packing in bad times. Its going to be about trust and community - that's where the true power of defense is going to be.

Guns (and cars) are very unforgiving, you have to have proper training and a uncompromising level of safety when you have them out.

The family in this clip had no business firing those guns - especially the kids - (I saw numerous safety violations) and if you watch several of the other episodes you get to see some pretty horrendous gun handling that would make anyone cringe (def a safety hazard).

That being said, I personally have pulled a gun twice in self defense (once in uniform) and once as a civilian. I would probably not be here now if I had not been carrying.

I don't want to be labelled pro-gun as I see both sides of the issue, and I also have fear of the "idiots" out there, including the ones driving big ass pickup trucks tailgating me inches away while I am driving my entire family.

Idiots are a danger with or without a gun.

Stupidity kills.

The TOUGHEST Bridge In The World

ForgedReality says...

>> ^KnivesOut:

There are warning sensors starting at least 2 blocks up the street. Several yellow lights start flashing on each intersection next to a sign that says "OVERHEIGHT". It's really hard to not notice.
Here's the
street view
if you want to pretend to drive up the street.
I think for the most part people are just idiots.>> ^mxxcon:
It looks like many trucks are rented. Perhaps drivers are not aware of the size of their trucks or just not experienced enough to realize that they now have to keep in mind height.
If they can't raise that bridge or make thinner support, then they def should dig a deeper road under it.

Oh man that would be bitchin if the Google street view car caught that semi trying to go through. Apparently he was smart enough to know to turn right and go around though.

Chinese Farmer Creates Wind-Powered Car

Barbar says...

I'm not so sure, Drachen.

If the car was going to push that air anyways, then there would be less additional drag from the turbine, no? This isn't the same situation as attaching the turbine to the top of the car, or having it stick out the side. We're concerned about the net effect on the vehicle's drag.

If I'm not mistaken, then this energy is not coming from nowhere, but is rather a portion of the energy being wasted to push the air in front of the car that is being returned.

Will it ever be enough to drive the care on it's own? No, I don't think so, without significant modifications and a steady breeze. But that doesn't mean it can't contribute to the vehicles efficiency.

All this is little more than idle speculation though. I def need to read more on the drag effects of turbines.

Tarantino XX: 8-Film Collection Official Trailer

I find Hi-Def to be jarring when watching old beloved films. It loses that dreamy painted quality and looks more like closed circuit television. Filmmakers put a lot of effort into creating a beautiful celluloid pallor, which HD Blu-Ray usually just rudely brushes aside. I have a sneaking suspicion that QT feels the same way, because he is a student of classic cinema. I'll be curious to see if QT finds a way to keep the old school warmth. Either way, this looks awesome. Take my money, please.

Are you sure you don't have some kind of motion smoothing on, or some similar effect? Because it sure sounds like it. A good Blu-ray transfer of a classic film looks far, far more film-like than any DVD is able to muster. Modern TVs default to the closed circuit television, or soap opera look, which absolutely baffles me.

I read an article that said that a good rule of thumb is that any video setting that can be turned off on a TV should be turned off. Modern TVs look like garbage by default. Though I suspect that you know how to calibrate your TV, and in that case I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Blu-rays are awesome.

I could not disagree with you more sir after watching Blade Runner on Blu Ray on a large screen. It was like watching it at the movies.

Killer Mike REAGAN

Man, it's crazy that Fantastic Damage came out in 2002 and it's still mind blowing. The new one is pure awesome, a little more poppy and heavy hanging with the bass/synth but Fantastic Damage is like the Loveless of hip hop (outside of maybe Dalek).

Definitely, sucks that EL-P doesn't do Def Jux any more it definitely seemed like they shoulda had a shitload of money pouring in.
