I agree that it's only a matter of time before someone survives another crash, particularly if it is into snow, but first keep in mind that those guys are in a dive and flying closer to 130-140mph and they are also flying head first. Taking a hit in that position would hardly ever be survivable.

Back 1999 new year, we were on a backbag trip thru eastern europe, filming the whole thing to 8mm and with one of the new award winning Finnish document producer on the camera, he leaned over the window, started doing a slow pan shot and once he got it and started to climb back in, a powerpole swush past his head, it was literally just 1 or 2cm... we check the situation and they were really going only 15cm from the train.. This was in Poland, Warsaw-Bialystok line (i think, could've been in Lithuania too)... No doubt they have increased margins since.. We almost lost a great talent.

Just imagine two of these roaming the night with a fishing line in between them. Decapitation Bots will be our downfall!
