GOP Try to Rewrite the History of the Jan 6th Insurrection

newtboy says...

Accidental Upvote, screen jerked. Someone please downvote the lie above for me.

Yes, rewriting with lies and false, ever evolving stories they can't keep straight.
If you're going to be a liar, you better be smart or you won't be able to remember the lie....like you.
Your life is nothing but lies and false stories. We all saw what happened live on tv, but you trust liar Trump over your own eyes and ears and the Everest of evidence you Maga morons left online...months of planning. Not one Antifa member has been arrested, not one BLM member, (the guy who once said black lives do matter doesn't count, I know it's all you've got) but hundreds and hundreds of stupid short bus Trumptards are awaiting prison because Trump told them to overthrow the government and make him president again. They said this repeatedly on camera. This was not business as usual, these were not peaceful protesters nor peaceful visitors, it was an armed, violent, quite deadly attempted coup. When you try a coup, you are an insurrectionist. As part of the mob rioting inside the capitol building, every single one is complicit in 5 deaths and should go away for life. If they WERE BLM or Antifa, you would agree.

You are the liar. You only tell false stories....constantly, and then hide like a baby when they are proven to be lies time and time and time again.

Your failed election/insurrection lies so far....
Trump won an election....that has never happened.
There was massive election fraud by democrats.
There was no attack on the capitol.
Trump wasn't involved at all.
Trump didn't tell them to attack.
Trump did everything possible to stop them.
There wasn't any violence.
It was really all BLM and Antifa, not Trumpists.
It was led by BLM and Antifa, who tricked Trumpists.
No one was armed.
It was planned by Pelosi.
It was planned by McConnell to please Pelosi.
It was a normal day and just some normal visitors acting appropriately.
Trump isn't so stupid that he stared directly into an eclipse on national television.....sorry, I guess that's unrelated, but still a failed lie.

Your idiotic bullshit is never ending....just saying baseless factless nonsense until people are so sick of it they ignore you, then calling that winning. Hint, that's losing like a spoiled baby everyone dislikes, not winning.

For you....Barry Morphew was charged with first-degree murder for the death of his wife Suzanne Morphew, but that didn't stop him from casting a ballot in her name for Donald Trump. Republicans actually murdered their loved ones to commit voter fraud for Trump, and he still lost in a historic landslide. Remove all the cheating, frauds, road blocks, voter purges, etc, Biden would have 75% of the vote, loser.

Second one for you....Trump is charging his secret service detail almost $200000 a year, $400 a day every day for one small room at Maralago to be near enough to protect him. No other ex president has EVER charged their security detail to stay on their property, I guess Trump is either so broke he really needs every tax payer penny he can squeeze out or so unpatriotic he just wants to keep sticking it to America....most likely both. Your hero, convicted fraud and charity thief who raised the debt in 4 years of a recovered economy as much as Obama in 8 years of recovering from the last Republican recession/depression....Your "financial genius".

And a third Trumptard snowflake story for today....7 republican majority counties in Oregon that make up 2% of the population voted to secede from Oregon and join Idaho because they hate the liberal majority but think they shouldn't move, the state needs to change to suit them, giving up over 75% of the state, most of which doesn't want this, so they can not live in a liberal state. Talk about whining little bitches. Your party is Benjamin Buttoning back into diapers....at this rate, by 2022 we can just abort you. Lmfahs!

How David Fincher uses CGI to perfection: kaptainkristian

HenningKO says...

The only CGI I ever noticed in a Fincher film was Benjamin Button. I think he reached too far on that one... didn't like it personally.
All these other ones though... I had no idea. Who CGIs blood rivulets?! Jeezus.

Assuming he has a bit of cocaine in his trouser pocket you're probably bang on. I find the Oedipus complex kind of disturbing to think about actually, but it's an interesting perspective.

Practical effects behind the scenes of Species. WOW!

Great points spoco2! I couldn't agree more.

I agree with the poster that models should be used more often, but CGI is simply not lazy. It's an insane amount of work in and of itself, which makes it even more frustrating that it dominates as much as it does these days

CGI is lazy, well, it can be. CGI, when used properly can be utterly stunning. Avatar, Golem, Benjamin Button and others all attest to the wonders that CGI can bring to a film, as to the countless 'invisible' improvements that CG can be used for.
Now the problem is that in films of the ilk of Species et al, we are talking about low-mid level budget movies. At this level CG tends to be unpolished and lazy and stands out like a sore thumb. And that's because it does take a lot of work to make it REALLY good, but far less work to make it 'ok', and 'enough'. These types of films used to have physical effects, and quite often you would watch them almost solely for these effects because they were creative and imaginative and wonderful. The way they worked with real objects to get around the limitations in budget are fantastic. The way they get around a limitation in budget for a film with CG is just to half cook the CG.

Even worse though is that because CG is so hard to do 'right' you get even films with insanely huge budgets containing CG that stands out like a sore thumb, where a physical effect would have been better.

The Making of Tron Legacy

Young Flynn and CLU were surprisingly decent, I thought. Obviously CG actors will always have some flaws that betray them for what they are, but I think the only noticeable flaw for CLU was the mouth, especially when it was open.
It's called suspension of disbelief. If we could do it for the Wizard of Oz, or Star Wars, we can do it for CLU.

No, I couldn't, because every time he opened his mouth it screamed "I'M BAD MOTION CAPTURE!"
Look at Avatar
Look at Benjamin Button
Those had utterly SUPERB facial animation that let you forget you were watching CG faces. CLU and young Flynn did not, hence they were a major let down.

Readily admit that CLU's face was a bit off-putting, but overall I loved how the film was a true continuation of the original story instead of a typical Hollywood reimagining (bleh I hate that word). Long-term story arcs FTW

Tron legacy: New trailer

spoco2 says...

I love the look that the film has (Orange and Teal just look better than the blue and red.... if it were just like the original, why bother making it?), but now that they've shown 'young Flynn' I am horrified at how piss poor he looks.

Shit, it CAN be done very realistically, look at "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", THERE was a film with AMAZING facial cgi... realistic to the nth degree... but this? Come on, it's 2010 people, he should look better than that. And IF you're explaining it that he isn't really Flynn, because real Flynn is the old one, then they should have gone further with making it look fake so we KNOW it's supposed to be that rather than looking like it does now... which is bad cgi face.

Really has dampened my enthusiasm for the film

Megan Fox, as filmed by me one morning last week

Xaielao says...

I absolutely do Abel, I'm quite sick of every single model and all the 'hottest' actress' looking pretty much the same anymore. It's why I personally think some of the most beautiful famous women don't meet those standards. Women like Laura Prepon, Kristen Kreuk, Kirsten Dunst, Liv Tyler, Cate Blanchett (who was the biggest reason to watch Benjamin Button lol. She was stunningly beautiful in that movie.) Not to mention some of the extraordinarily beautiful asian actresses around the world, like Ziyi Zhang.

None of these women meet that exact 'super hotty' look of long, lanky, skinny with the same thin little face and sparkling eyes. But to me they are some of the most beautiful women in hollywood.

Don't get me wrong, Megan Fox is gorgeous and wonderful to look at, but she is simply more of the same exact look that every white early 20's model looks like these days. That same air-brushed look.
