Terminator In (Number/#)s
Not sure about the accuracy of those numbers either, seeing as there were more than 17 comics (close to 30), more than one novel (closer to 10) and arguably more than 4 movies (if you include the released-to-DVD "Salvation" machinima and the the "T2 Battle Across Time" tour/rides ;-)
Honest Trailers - Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Lol, I just had the same conversation with a friend!
My response was I'm not sure that comparison holds up.
Alien is a haunted house with a single killer.
Aliens is basically a vietnam war movie.
Different ideas, different directors and a completely different structure.
Whereas T1 and T2 are both chase movies by the same director.
T1 and T2 are much closer in structure.
"what is that? why is it trying to kill me?
run the hell away!
break in the middle for recuperation/exposition
chase scene in a truck
big explosion/crash
yay, it's dead! oh no, wait
final confrontation in factory"
Don't get me wrong... T2 is a great movie, but T1 has more menace.
I like both T1 and T2. T2 would be higher to me. Like Aliens and Alien. I love both. Aliens 2 is higher to me. All the rest of the sequels and spinoffs, bleh!

Wait... OJ was supposed to be the T-1000? Or Miles Dyson?
T2 is an epic movie, but IMO T1 is still the best. Am I alone in this?

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I did not notice the "Embedding disabled by request" prompt on my original submission. I did find a working one via therealnews.com that lead me to an unlisted youtube page.

terminator genisys trailer
Look, I'mma let you finish, but T2 is one of the best action movies OF ALL TIME.
I'm looking forward to some original Terminator style acting. I HATE the 'fun and friendly' version of the terminator. The one in the first movie was the only acceptable version, and I can't fathom why they decided to make him a toy for a 12 year old boy, and keep him that way.
Transforming Formula One: 2014 Rules Explained by Red Bull
Not exactly.. It is limited by time and amount of energy. There is no "push to pass" button but they have some leeway on how to spread the extra energy around the lap. You can use it more on one corner but for the rest of the lap, you're total power output is reduced.
First race is now over, RBR got disqualified due to too much fuel was being fed to the engine... Also the dreaded "they will save fuel" phase was over in 10 laps. There were lots of technical DNFs, 14 cars made it to the finishline, which was miles better than worst fears. Some of the cars made their first race distance. But the main change was..
Almost unlimited torque at the low revs.. The cars were sliding, they were skittish, there were 3rd gear opposite locks.. They are once again more powerful than the grip what tires and aero can produce. Turns like T2 and T5 in Albert Park used to be "non-corners", they just pointed the nose to apex and floor it.. Now.. totally different thing. Even T9 exit was dangerous, which it hasn't been since 1999.
Eau Rouge will not be a flat out, easy corner but terrifying rollercoaster that eats lives if you don't respect it..
Only thing we lost is the sound, the new V6 uses energy so much efficiently that sound is not as loud.. On the plus side, you can hear the tires squeeling and the audience cheering. It's not V10 screech but low throaty roar.
That's exactly how it's used.
are nader reforms still possible? reality asserts itself
After everything is said and done, it boils down to the level of organisation on the left, doesn't it? No organisation means no power, no power means no representation, no representation means fucking corporatocracy.
And since Nader's talking about the economic situation, let me link the EPI's list of this year's 13 most important charts: EPI. I'd add a graph of SNAP participation, but still, those charts should be enough to realize just how fucked up everything is.
Edit: by the way, the link to the other parts was lost somewhere along the road: http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=832&Itemid=74&jumival=1114
