Sumo Robot Wrestling
That one was cool. Very interesting to try to infer what their algorithms / strategies are based purely on their emergent behavior.
I'd label 3:46 a "come at me bro" strategy -- present a target and attempt escape when the opponent charges.
Lots of "spirograph / can't hit what you can't see" in there. Never sit still, go straight until the edge of the ring is detected, turn and repeat.
And the "matadors" are also very interesting, with their distracting / confusing actuated flags.
As an aside, I'd assume there are weight classes?
3:46 is my favorite.

Did you know that there's a direct correlation between the decline of Spirograph and the rise in gang activity? Think about it.
Always thought I was the only one that recognized the relationship...should be obvious to anyone who can draw a perfect circle simultaneously with both hands behind their back on a chalkboard!!?

Now that's some awesome father-son activity. I believe it involves some engineering as well.
And a good illustration of how it's the time you spend together that's important more than what's ultimately accomplished.

So what is this saying? I can open up a wormhole with my old Spirograph set?
All kidding aside, that is very cool. I just hope nobody uses the info for the wrong purpose.

I loved the vector games. Never had a Vectrex, but played one at Sears.
The coloured Vector games were called Quadrascan I think. I enjoyed Captain Havoc, TacScan and some Asteroids clone that was in color, and the asteroids were replaced with wheels that looked like spirographs. Anyone remember the name of that one? I'd like to Mame it.

Needs a much higher resolution and better quality than shockwave and youtube can ever provide. Too bad, would like to see more. As it is, just looks like pretty colours on a spirograph. Still, upvote for the mind-boggling-ness of it all.
