Pretty Hula Hoop Part Deux
>> ^chingalera:
Dubstep has the capacity to set up some fundamentally deleterious vibrations in a human body at high volumes. Been to quite a few venues in my city, varied settings, and most have one thing in common: Poor sound engineering and too much Db for the space....
The evolution of Dj's styles goes hand in hand with the kind of durgs available and popular nowdays-Less pot and hallucinogens and more pharmaceuticals and bathtub amphetamines has created an evolutionary path for the sound. The music was more creative and ethereal, beneficial to the psyche when the majority of the crowd were high on natural drugs.
The genres' turning to complete shit IMO, sort of like rap and hip-hop did (although in a much shorter amount of time) and this time I blame the drugs first, and the idiots who abuse them next-
Dubstep it seems bees morphing into an un-listenable schizm whose fans are as hollow and vapid as the creativity it takes to rub two cuts together and drop an angular, hypnotic beat in the "release all bowels" range of hearing
You know...you could just say, "I don't like it." No need to get all hipsterish on us.

This Opera Singer Scares Me
Now if she could do this while hula hooping then I'd really be impressed!
>> ^Fantomas:
This is the sort of woman needed in the top 15, not some slapper with a hula-hoop.

Can we get her in a dark room with some black lights and body paint in addition to the hula? Oh, and some magic mushrooms...
Then, we can't see her body! Both are purty.

I was just thinking, mushrooms would go very nice with that hoola display, with mushrooms there is no separation, only blending of the colours. Fluidic sensory perception as askew as it might be, there is blending.
Duuude?!!...keep gabberin', yer simply coppin' to that plump rumpPpage and wishing you were high on CRACK!
I Can't Take my Eyes off this Hula Hoop

I Can't Take my Eyes off this Hula Hoop
frig,
the hula hoop industry sure will do anything to get us to watch their hula hoops.
including putting lights on them.
I Can't Take my Eyes off this Hula Hoop
I'm upvoting the light display... seriously, that's some awesome patterns and shapes being made there.
I'd love to see a nicely shot, HD video in a good location with a hula hoop like this would be cool

Cute Girl Shows Off her Hooping Skills
The song was popularized by Old Crow Medicine Show who has long been affiliated with Alt Country/hippy jam fests. To be fair to OP though, there has been a bit of a fusion of the "scenes." Live electronic bands like the Disco Biscuits, Sound Tribe Sector 9, and the New Deal spawned this sort of new breed of "hippy-raver hybrids." As @visionep pointed out, there is somewhat of a natural symbiosis there. Anyway, this unholy alliance has come so far along as to push classic hippy bands like String Cheese Incident, Galactic, and Medeski Martin and Wood towards more electronic influenced sounds. These days you see kids on phish tour rockin' skrillex tattoos (oh the humanity). Whatever. I for one welcome our next generation of inebriated overlords. We all like to get down. Let's get down together.

@visionep I known a lot of [insert creative subculture] that love bluegrass/Americana/old timey/folk music. So this isn't really all that strange to see. Also, this isn't exactly your normal country music you hear at some truck stop in Kansas.

So raver culture has infiltrated country music festivals? Awesome.. I always knew the two were related in some way.
<alternate comment>
There are some people that shouldn't wear spandex... and then again there are some people should, especially when they are showing off for a video that I am going to be able to view.
i think "festy" culture would be a more appropriate and inclusive term.
sounds more bluegrassy/west coast than country.
Cute Girl Shows Off her Hooping Skills
This is the best hula-hoop video I've ever seen. She's so happy!
