WKRP in Cincinnati Turkey Drop

Jack and Grace Reenact I Love Lucy's Chocolate Factory Scene

Yeah, I didn't know too. They need to do the rest of the series. You can find colorized clips online. I saw the popular classic ones.

It came as a surprise to me that they colorized a whole bunch of episodes like that!

I'd seen the couple that they colorized many years ago, e.g., the a xmas episode, but I had no idea they released a DVD with 16 colorized eps!

I'll have to check those out!

Did you see the colorized episodes? I watched a few clips online a few days ago and a full Christmas episode on CBS a few years ago. They were beautiful and clear! Also, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SNNQ31Y/ for its DVD.

Love this. ❤️

I've loved I Love Lucy from the time I was a young kid. I've seen every episode multiple times.

I've tried to get my sons into the show. They've seen an episode or two. I'm going to keep at it.

Bulldog Has Incredible Reaction To Actress In Trouble

You didn’t explicitly say it, but you are incredulous that they would go after something small. Same argument, different angle imo….and a common misconception.

In the wild, or in captivity with others, yes. They would absolutely compete for a mouse. In my monitor’s later years I got a second monitor, I had to feed them separately because they would both go for the same mouse and end up accidentally biting each other’s heads in the process.

Fight?….that depends on your definition. Not like movie dinosaurs, but watch any clip of Komodo dragons feeding, or gators going after a single chicken carcass. Reptile mass feeding is rough, but rarely deadly. It’s not uncommon for gators to lose limbs in a feeding frenzy, for instance.

I never said that large dinosaurs would only go after other large dinosaurs.

Would your monitor fight three other large beings for a single mouse?

Kamala And The Mushroom Tip

Don't know whether to compliment or be repulsed by that statement.

If anyone can put their "special purpose" INTO a urinal then either they are unGODly endowed or have a kink rarely (un)covered in adult films.

Perhaps, OVER a urinal would be a better description, but perhaps being accurate isn't a requirement for the poster...or the joke.

EX : two men are taking a leak off a river bridge...

"Water sure is cold today," says one.
"Deep too." replied the other.

Most folks would say they urinated OFF the bridge. IF the term was INTO the river, the urine stream is the part being place INTO the river. (i.e. sort like a stream feeding into a larger stream - - the confluence where Big Bob's Brook meets the Yellow River)

As opposed to "I drop my 'special purpose' into the water for a leak." His 'special purpose' was being INserted into the river.

SO Bob's statement should have read...

"She had more penises in her than the number of times I've put mine into a birdbath."

https://youtu.be/yJJA6WRpvlg?t=76 *

* Context for the term 'special purpose'...although the 2nd half of the clip's letter scene is largely out of context. Hmm...a link to the movie THE JERK in a response to a bk33 comment? How 'bout that?

Drawing strangers on the NYC subway

I had to pause the video after that bit. I went to the artist's YT page hoping for a longer cut of that where perhaps she explains her reaction, but it's the exact same clip. So I pondered the possible reasons, and came to the same conclusion you did: she felt invisible / desperately lonely, and this was a rare "someone actually SAW me" moment.

I have a good friend who has been living in NYC for around 20 years, and in the past 18 months he's basically been in isolation due to the pandemic. He seems to be talking about moving back to our home state, seriously, for the first time.

I totally understand the woman who outright bursts into tears. NYC can be a lonely, alienating place. You close down to live there. If you're friendless and alone, if your entire world is a studio in Brooklyn ... imagine what it would be like to feel human contact again with a simple act of joy and kindness.

Day of Rage: How Trump Supporters Took the U.S. Capitol

I knew I'm not the only one disappointed they didn't fire up the roof mounted Phalanx CIWSs. I'm pretty certain 20mm is big enough for unarmored infantry, and it puts nearly double the rounds down range per second, is far more accurate (not that accuracy matters with a Vulcan cannon) and has 1550 rounds per clip, reloaded in under 4 minutes by two people, compared to 1350 30mm total in a warthog.

I love it when the Titsy Terrorist wins her stupid prizes.

It's just too bad they didn't take an A-10 cannon to the rest of those traitors.

NYPD Blue - This Is A Workin' Man, He's Not Stickin' Nobody

That's just fantasy. Name ONE TV cop shows that's not PR for the Blues? At best, I hope this clip serves as an instructional video for the IRL cops. At worst, it's pure whitewash.

I pretty much watch any type of TV BUT cops shows except the British ones and the mystery whodunit mini-series like the recent Mare of Easttown.

I'm extremely glad that I live in Canada, and I live in a Toronto suburb, I don't need to fear police officers because I don't see them walking beats on main streets, they're just usually in their cruisers and/or hiding around dark/down-hill intersections to catch speeding cars. But Toronto downtown is another story I think, I see the occational news reports of police harrassment of PoC just like those in the US. But far, far less fatal.
