Game of Thrones Season 2 Special Effects Reel

To the bitter end.

BicycleRepairMan says...

"I think it is a convenience to the owner, not the dog, to put it down before it dies naturally."

With all due respect: Fuck you.

When you've actually taken on the responsibility of having a dog, and you've fed that dog for ten years, every day, walked that dog for ten years, every day, when you have played with that dog for ten fucking years , every fucking day, and you've come home to that dog for ten years, and that dogs shows you love every day for ten years, then don't even fucking talk to me about this shit. Fuck off. I'm sorry for the insults, but this hits too close to home for me.

You think putting the dog down is the easy way out?

Look at this fucking guy, spending hours in the water every day, because he can't bear to do the right thing. Everyone who's had a dog put down feels the same way. They'd do anything for another day in the water, for another look into that dogs eyes. To stroke its fur just one more time.

Do you think its easy coming home to no sounds, no tapping feets, to sleep with no snooring sounds from the dog, no wagging tail in the morning like you've had for ten years?

Oh , and add all that to "You've just killed your best friend"

Easy , right?

Fuck you.

Your Religion Might Be Bullshit If... (with Redneck Ronnie)

PostalBlowfish says...

There is nothing positive to be gained from religion that can't be realized without it. Yet, there is so much negative gained by the brainwashing that what positives are possible can't even be fully realized. You can examine yourself but your examination must always pass through the lens of indoctrination.

Jesus (the example with which I am most familiar) basically tells us not to be dicks. We already knew it was a good idea not to be a dick, even if we are dicks to people sometimes. Here's the thing to notice: the religion helps us forget how not to be a dick. Most of the people who hate on gays have been told by Jesus not to be dicks and not to hate, yet somehow they forgot. They forgot because they have a "moral code" that is "superior" to "sinners." Once you're "superior," it's easy to forget how not to be a dick.

A real follower of Jesus would not pass those judgements, would respect and love all people, and would be a homeless wanderer giving everything to lift up the downtrodden. Just remember that whenever a "Christian" is judging someone else... when what he really needs is to judge himself. I realize the last bit is a really high bar, but the rest of the teachings would improve the world if only they were understood with clarity instead of shoved aside for the sake of finger-wagging at people who are different.

The Creator of Linux has a message for NVIDIA

artician says...

That was refreshing and made me feel really good.

I have struggled with nVidia/ATI for years, as a developer and a gamer. nVidia is the lesser of two evils by far though. I will never touch another ATI card. In the last 12 years I have purchased 3 of them. Every few years they trick me again with higher clock speeds and lower prices, and I think to myself "they can't still be that terrible now", and I regret it every time. I can't overstate how terrible they were.

Anyway, point being that Nvidia may be a shit company to liaison with, and they stick their shit advertisements in front of every game (whether their hardware works with it or not), and have worthless, intentionally confusing product naming for heavily downclocked, overpriced hardware, and they wag their corporate ego around the industry quite mightily (much to my chagrin), but do they still work. The worst failure I've ever experienced from an Nvidia product was better than the best performance I've had from ATI, and that's not an exaggeration.

But still, I really enjoyed this.

How to handle gays? Concentration Camp

A10anis says...

>> ^TheGenk:

D'aaawww, little bigoted idiot Pastor thinks Lesbian and Homosexual are two different things.

One more thing, I would love to ask him publicly how long he's been a fan of Hitler(and his method of dealing with gays) and then see him backpedal frantically.

He is just another sick example of the lack of love and compassion shown by religion. These bronze age zealots, misogynists, and homophobes, are the one that need to die out before they drag us back to the dark ages, when religious nut-jobs dictated every facet of life. Seriously, they could learn a lot about love from my dog, he wags his tail, and gives love, without judging.

Confirmed: Obama's Birth Certificate Not Authentic 2012

messenger says...

Can you believe they spent thousands of hours with computer experts and still didn't figure out that a document scanned to be searchable will come out with layers?

Me neither. It's either another setup, or both sides are wagging the dog.>> ^HugeJerk:

They are using the same false logic as before. When you scan an image, you don't get layers. When you scan a document as an image, you don't get layers... but when you scan a document with software that turns it into a searchable PDF, it does create layers.>> ^bobknight33:
I would gather we all have downloaded this birth certificate and looked at in in illustrator and such and have suspicion of authenticity. This is just another story that has dug deeper than you and I and have come up with more conclusive clarity that is a bogus.

What Not To Do With Your Pet Rottweiler

Porksandwich says...

Got a dog like that, except it'll do stuff like that while we're playing. It might even nip, give a quick soft bite with it's teeth...never hard enough to hurt just register that you've been tagged.

And as soon as I change my posture and movements, dog changes her attitude wagging her tail. So......not really scared if my dog does something like that. Now if you have a dog that acts like that to strangers...probably end up with a dead dog when police arrive.

Just to emphasize, my dog does not act like that with strangers. She'll bark at them in an "you've been seen!" kind of way but no growling or teeth showing. So it's entirely possible this dog has been taught to act like that when people reach slowly for their toys.
