That’s not what the report said by any means. It said one FBI agent slightly misrepresented one email that was a tiny part of the reason for the warrant against Page that ended up finding so much Russian collusion and so many unregistered foreign agents working in the Trump administration, they were convicted.
It did not discount those serious crimes against the United States those officials committed and were convicted of (many them pardoned by Trump).

None of those convictions for administration officials being unregistered foreign agents was a hoax.
That meeting in Trump tower with Russians to trade favors for dirt on Clinton wasn’t a hoax.
That recording of Flynn illegally colluding with Russia on Trumps behalf before Obama was out of office wasn’t a hoax, neither was his conviction for outright lying about all of it under oath because he KNEW it was illegal collusion with a hostile foreign power and knew it was a serious crime he’d been caught committing for Trump….those weren’t hoaxes.
Those dozens of cases of administration officials laundering cash donated by Russians to Trump weren’t hoaxes.

Only the claim that “Russia/Trump is a hoax” is a hoax. 🤦‍♂️

All the Durham report really showed is the Trump DOJ acted wholly inappropriately by acting as Trump’s personal lawyer and PR machine, spreading lies and hiding evidence for him, not acting the nations top cop but actively working against national interests and justice to protect one criminal.

Failing to avoid getting hit by a car as a pedestrian may or may not be the pedestrian's fault. I could give you literally thousands of examples where it is not the pedestrian's fault (and I bet the statistics show this to be true the majority of the time) but I'll let you Google them yourself.

I sure as hell hope you're a spring chicken because if someone veers off the road at a high enough speed directed at you, you're going to have a hard time getting out of the way.

BTW, I'll let my mates who are still paramedics know to tell any pedestrians injured by cars (or family thereof for the deceased ones) that it was their fault, even when it wasn't.

The typical residential speed limit is 50km/h here, and usually 40km/h around schools. Just a small note on that one: thanks to the actions of Victoria "Fuck the EU" Nuland and the Nazi-supporting, oligarch-empowering regime of Yanukovich/Poroshenko in Ukraine, the "working alongside" part seems to fall awfully short when it comes to the Bear in the East. The Putin administration does some fucked-up shit, but all those tanks taking part in Anaconda 16, the biggest excercise since the end of the Cold War, they don't sport Russian insigniae. That's NATO, excercising a "Invasion of Russia" scenario at the border of Russia.

I question the 2-3 yr car replacement figure. When I used to commute 100 miles per day back in the 90's, I drove a crown victoria. It lasted me, by best recollection, well over 400k miles before I had to replace it due to the engine dying. Now I did maintain it religiously, so that may not be the average, but I think if you got a decent car and kept it serviced that it would last longer than 3 years.

I did some math, and assuming the average Uber driver puts 100 miles on his car per day, the car would just be out of warranty (100k) around 2.7 years. So I guess you would have to get another car if you only wanted to have it serviced under warranty, but realistically most cars can easily go well past 100k today and still run fine as long as they are maintained.

Gun control laws have always been about making sure a militia doesn't form to overthrow the duly elected secretariat. It has nothing to do with public safety.

If someone wants to go around killing a bunch of people with a gun, they will do that. Period. It happens up here in Canada and we have higher barriers to gun ownership than even what US gun control advocates are asking for. I can go out and buy a fully automatic AK-47 within minutes and I'm in sleepy old Victoria. I've met the people who have access, and they don't care if you're a whack job.

What we don't have is routine legal gun deaths from people who merely get pissed off. THAT is the US problem. Emotions, not insanity.
