I still think that open comments on the Internet are essential. As horrible as some may be, its still better than to censor people, who are simply venting there instead of sucking it up and eventually exploding in something more horrible than a fucking few letters.
People need to get more tolerant and need to have more self esteem and also think more before bursting out into a pile of emotions. Not everyone has a nice life, not everyone can afford the things they want, not everyone had much luck in life with anything. In a fucked up society like ours, you cant fix everything, and some fixes will make it even worse.
Ignoring bad things will only make them worse. Its that simple.

What i find a shame is that they can legally charge me $20,000 for 3 hrs in the hospital because i fell off my bike (which ill be in debt for forever probably), or 750 dollars a month they want to charge me at costco for one of the antidepressants I was taking (paid about 100 a month from Canada for the generic which they cant sell in the US). Also there is the $8500 my dentist wants to replace two of my front teeth which ill need in the next year or two. Personally ill take my chances with socialized medicine as I dont have the kind of money it takes to get better when i get sick or hurt. None of us should have to choose between medical attention/medication and the ability to eat or pay the bills. Thats just the way I see it. Thanks for letting me vent.

Looking at this downvote-fest clearly shows that mental illness is like flying planes and swimming with sharks. Everytime something horrible happens involving planes, sharks or insane people it's on the news, becoming the big story. Somebody shot up a school, details at five o'clock. Every fucking time.
These stories of terrible perril and death are so interesting, we make the best blockbuster cinema out of them: Psycho, Jaws and Snakes on a Plane (the double whammy of scary things!).
We're conditioned to fear that stuiff, we're comfortable fearing that. It looks and sounds scary and everybody can come up with easily terrifying scenarios.
Nobody is afraid of driving their car though. I wonder what the statistics make of that.
First of all, "better lock her up, she might get herself killed" is not an argument to lock up the crazy lady, it is an argument to lock up the postal worker. Before he goes postal on her. Yeah, that was a great pun, you better clap. But I meant: before he stands his ground.

Really? How do you know? Should we get the cops to taser her into submission? How would you like that video, "mentally ill woman tasered by cops"?
I see no weapon, I see no hint of her trying to get too close to that guy. She vents some paranoia and then leaves. She goes away. That's it.
Sure, her other videos may make her creepier but that's her thoughts she posting. I'm a man. If I'd walk around with a camera and record every thought of mine, I'd probably been locked away by now because there's a lot of people I'd like to shoot. In my thoughts. As a german, without any patriotism in me, I have to say that i'm getting sick of hearing these language comparison jokes, which are only imitating the "Hitler" style of speaking. I get these impersonations nearly everytime my being german comes up. Let me assure you that no normal german talks like that (Except when we do Hitler impersonations, which is like all the time, but only behind your backs.)

There's nothing wrong with it and internally, it could be beneficial as a form of coping/stress management. The problem is when you honestly think it has an effect externally.

Things to consider: What a bummer if she's wrong and she's simply venting her frustration on him. She did admit that they cannot tell if he has broken the law or not - said another way, he has not broken the law. She is also calling multiple doctors liars in regards to his diagnosis. He says he served so I assume it was a non-combat role since she said he never picked up a weapon. Way to denigrate all the supporting roles.

I've seen a lot of people flaunting story since it happened, but they fail to read the whole article:

There were six similar attacks in just seven months in 2010 that killed nearly 20 people and wounded more than 50.

The most recent such attack took place in August, when a knife-wielding man broke into a middle school in the southern city of Nanchang and stabbed two students before fleeing.

In one of the worst incidents, a man described as an unemployed, middle-aged doctor killed eight children with a knife in March 2010 to vent his anger over a thwarted romantic relationship.

Tight controls mean that gun crimes are rare in China and make knives and sometimes explosives the weapons used in mass attacks in China.

Just a theory here: look at 0:42 and how the tanks are connected together at the bottom with a crossover, then the fuel line goes UP to a fuel filter. Depending on how each of those two separate tanks are venting if you keep a hard left bank like that it will starve the engine when your gas is trying to dump into the left tank to find level. Combined with the air in that filter you'd lean out or quit pretty fast. Vapor lock.

Yes, this is part of the new gas extraction craze taking off around the world. In many cases, the natural gas, including methane, isn't worth collecting, it is easier to just burn it then to try and sell it. Usually they are after the liquid hydrocarbons in these new deposits that horizontal mining has allowed access too. One might point to some sinister aim in this kind of venting, but I imagine this offgassing happened outside their control, bubbling up outside of their containment. This can happen if care isn't taken or some geological factor comes into play which you didn't account for...it is a pretty neat science actually, gives geologists something new to do and map out. Generally speaking, if your venting gasses, your also venting the stuff you are trying to collect, which is undesirable, even more so if it is the gasses your after (and depending on the regional prices, that is usually what they are after, australian deposites are usually pretty low in liquid hydrocarbons, meaning they are usually after gas in the land down under). I just posted a very long winded video on the subject if you wish to learn more details about the environmental and health impacts of fracking and new gas extractions technologies. In the end, it might just be a new hydrocarbon to burn and throw into the atmosphere and cause harm. Butin the short term, it might be a good tool for destroying the coal lobby making way for actual low carbon systems to come online like solar, wind and nuclear. Like all things in life, its complicated with benefits and consequences.

A friend of mine (RIP), who consumed, lived in a 6 plex apartment. A neighbor would complain now and then about my friends habits and that she could smell it. He eventually got so fed up with her calls to the landlord and he had determined by blocking a certain air vent in his house and blowing air into another one, it would feed entirely into her apartment. He said he set up a fan-driven CANNABIS CAMPFIRE (shall we call it) one day and basically shotgunned her entire side of the building.
