They should put they wireframe visualisation in all self-driving cars so passengers can watch it. That seems like something that will ease people's minds about "trusting computers" if they can constantly monitor what the car is "seeing" and "thinking".

antI know. It was scary! I thought it could fail since I don't trust computers and electronic (I do software testings). I am glad it was good! I watched it on http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/mars/curiosity_news3.html live at about 10:08 PM PDT. Awesome 64x64 images at first: https://twitter.com/NASA/status/232350219700932608/photo/1 ... I can't wait for more. I will go to sleep soon after I calm down!
Did anyone watch Spirit and Opportunity in 2004? I watched it live with one of the twin rovers back in 2004 on my 15" Apple PowerBook G4 1 Ghz with its wireless in RealPlayer in Mac OS X 10.2.x. I still have it in packed somewhere.
I chuckled when the control room was partying and not really working. [grin]

I noticed you just downvoted my video about Trusted Computing, if you would be so kind, please let me know what your justification was. At the very least the video deserves artistic merits, even if you don't agree with the content.

benjeeFor the more serious modern day evidence of this, check out: Windows Vista: First of a Kind Features (de ja vue for OSX). Although, they both steal; Steve Job's stole the interface from visiting a friend at Xerox Paulo Alto Research Centre. Bill Gates nicked code/functionality from other non-copyrighted software (and screwed his friend over in the process). How ironic it is today when they both are so protective of their own products (and customer's too, IE Trusted Computing?)
