Ugh. I'm starting to realize I'm susceptible to psychosomatic nausea...

This reminds me in a bad way of the one time I was in anything approaching rough seas. It was a ferry from Finland to Sweden, with winds around 30m/sec. In Stockholm, trams were thrown off their tracks by the wind.

I'd just had dinner when the waves hit and was lying down in my cabin, thinking that might be the easiest way to weather the ship's rocking. It wasn't. Decided to go out on deck to get some fresh air, a task slightly complicated by the way the floor kept falling out from under my feet while I was trying to walk. This on a ship built to transport some 3000 people.

End result, I might as well not have paid for the dinner, plus I self-diagnosed myself with an ear infection that really flared up about the same time. And this is almost an inland sea we're talking about, nothing like an ocean. I think I'll stick to planes for transcontinental travel, thank you very much.

Wrong place at the wrong Tram

It's not a train at all, it's called a Tram*. Completely different.

* or Street Car, or Trolley if you're american.

But would they actually just crash into them? This tram could obviously stop if it wanted to, was it just trying to teach him a lesson or something? I'm sure the car was in the wrong place and the tram had right of way but it seems a bit harsh to write off the car like that!

And you are of course, completely right. I have played MANY violent games, and I have read MANY violent books, and I have listened to MANY violent songs.

And I'm still not a violent person. In fact, the last time I did anything that could even be considered close to violent was when some preppy douchebag was standing in the very middle of the aisle in a tram and ignoring all the other passengers, even little old ladies, who awkwardly had to squeeze past this greedy asshole when he could easily have moved out the way. I walked past him to step off the tram, and as I did so, I bumped him out of the way with my shoulder.

OMG SO VIOLENT RIGHT!?!? I have clearly been ruined forever.

And really, despite all the violent imagery I've taken in through all these different mediums, I haven't killed even a single person. In fact, I haven't even hit anybody since I was something like eleven years old, despite the fact that I have killed hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people and assorted animals and mythical beasts during that time.

Naa...it's not the cripples fault. The tram driver just has displaced aggression as his wife dressed him in gym socks and sandals that day.

Of course that's wrong. He was walking on a tram track but no need to push him that hard, the driver could've easily just walked him to the side. There is a phenomena in Russia about insurance scams, we don't know if that's what the old man was trying.. Both were douches thou.
