It's easy to complain about a business when you've never invested money in a venture yourself. Most business owners are NOT billionaire fat cats with top hats and monocles. Most are working to make a living, and a lot of restauranteurs make less than the servers because of the debt and having to pay worker salaries first before paying theirs.

That aside, when these customers sat down to order they agreed to the mandatory tip. It would've been wise for the restaurant to comp them when they complained, but they certainly are not obligated to do so.

I rarely tip less than 20% unless the service is terrible. Even when mandatory I tend to add to it. I suppose I should move to Europe where they "make better society" and then I'd never have to reward people for their good work.

This is grossly edited to present the girl in a bad light. The horse in fact had recently used the girls Nintendo Wii and had changed the avatar to a really gay looking character with a top hat and spectacles.

Yes. They don't have to accept it as payment if they want to negotiate something else, but they cannot post $88 fee then change their policy arbitrarily which is what this lady did by not accepting the payment:

Like I explained above. They asked for 88 US Dollars for payment, not 88 top hats or 88 pencils or 88 bottles of beer on the wall. Still, they're towing cars under the law, so they have to accept USD. It would be unfair for them to tow your car and demand you pay them the entire planet of Jupiter. I think it's implied they must accept USD if they're to deal with towing people's property.

Parkour is pretty cool in its aspect of urban navigation, but the cool factor overall disappears for me when you realise its just grown men jumping around like monkeys, except monkeys are better.

Now if they were wearing top hats and made sure they didn't fall off, it might be worthwhile then, however an actual monkey in a top hat would beat it hands down still.

I don't have any comment about this issue other than the fact that shiner_man clearly handed vaporlock's ass to him in a top hat.
