Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) Series Review (Part 1)
>> ^Arkaium:
Sounds like it's narrated by the Angry Video Game Nerd?
It is. James/AVGN owns and runs http://cinemassacre.com/ ...
Fresh Prince's Uncle Phil Played Shredder on TMNT
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG6T14reSPE mentioned his TMNT voice actor role.
Angry Video Game Nerd - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES
Pizza shit!
In all seriousness though, I remember very vividly playing the arcade game of TMNT that looked like this:
Then after getting this NES piece of shit for Christmas and ending up getting frustrated as hell trying to make it past that water level. Then finally getting past the water level with a sliver of hp only to find myself in some kind of sick maze of terribleness. THEN when I finally got "TMNT 2:The Arcade Game" I thought "FINALLY the game I'd wanted to play all along!!!" only to end up with this:
Granted that was much closer to the arcade than the first installment, but "The Arcade Game" tacked onto the title let my childhood imagination run wild with the thoughts of the potential for the NES. Perhaps it was true! The original game developers had just never heard of or seen the arcade game because they were Chinese sweat shop programmers, I reasoned. These new programmers surely would stay true to the original gameplay/graphics. Instead of a carbon copy of the game though, I ended up with something that by comparison looked like it should be played on a Gameboy. Alas, another let down.
Still though, the purchase of TMNT2 The Arcade Game was a letdown that would have been an easier blow to handle if it had not been for the piece of shit game that was the original.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Use Their Weapons
Loved that.
I was a die hard TMNT fan as a child, but totally forgot about those Rock Steady and Bebop characters until I saw their faces.

Voiceactor for Morbo, Kif, Calculon, and Inspector Gadget
>> ^dannym3141:
It's amazing how important these guys are to us, and how as soon as they do their voices in public, they get a flock of people giving them respect. I imagine it's like nothing else, when you can wander around almost incognito, and as soon as you do a voice and tell them it was you, they'll treat you like a god for the impact you had on their childhood.
I know if a guy told me he was egon spengler and did the voice and i believed him, he'd be treated reverentially by me.. Same for stuff like TMHT (TMNT) voices.
I kinda saddens me though, incredibly talented voice-actors like this guy get like no respect compared to very pretty but talentless people like Natalie Portman.

Top 10 Most Difficult Games
TMNT was hard because it was horridly designed. Yep, Ikaruga was on the DC first, not surprised GT missed that. DMC3? Shinobi on the PS2? Don't these games have to qualify as being good, too? In that case, Dragon's Lair for the NES is the hardest game ever! F-Zero GX was a pleasant surprise, as far as racing games go, I agree. Ghosts'n'Goblins is the name of the series. Ghouls followed later, not a series. Ninja Gaiden, nuff said. Surprised there was no Contra 4, it is 2d-schmup bliss (Contra/Super C are unlockables!) with a difficulty so manly you have to shave after playing. Though this looks like an older GT countdown, based on the look.
Top 10 Most Difficult Games
Ikaruga may have been pretty mind boggling but I would have though 1 hit 1 kill games with a rewind back like RType would be considered harder. BTW they didn't mention that dreamcast also got Ikaruga.
I find most 1 hit 1 kill games dificult, contra, most shmups, ect.
Oh, I also thought the NES TMNT was pretty hard due to the horrible weapons and their lack of being able to sweep areas when being swung. Oh and things like the mobs respawning as soon as their spawn point went offscreen.
Staten Island Ninja
Excellent video. Hot blonde reporter, ninjas terrorizing people like the Foot Clan in TMNT, I kept waiting for a Casey Jones interview, but sadly, only the oral surgeon gave his 2 cents on the matter, that out-of-shape dufus couldn't hurt his sleeping patients, let alone a disciple of the Shredder...
