I can't remember the last time I saw images from London without Hijabs and blacks. London is at least 30% nonwhite, but you wouldn't know it from this clip or from pictures of the cleanup.

I know...I was gonna say something like "why does whitey have to screw up everything" but in my opinion whitey did have to try very hard. I agree with Raigen, I saw the documentary "Shark Water" and I am very intrigued with Sharks, all types and sizes, my favorite would have to be the Tiger Shark! Either One of or the Deadliest bites of them all, Most sharks bite and try to rip off the meat by going side to side. The Tiger shark, however, takes a bite and that is it basically, a clean bite!!
Statistically you are more likely to die from a vending machine rather than a shark, more of a chance to win the lottery than getting attacked by a shark. I would love to, one day, swim with sharks!!
One question though, I know The Great White Sharks are White, but why that name? What about a black shark? top half black, bottom half white, but it isn't called the Great Black Shark...why isn't it called the Great Black Shark? Why is the Great White Shark so Great? So White? although most of them are grey.

"What about LCD monitors? I keep hearing that is makes no difference what color they display, or that they even use more energy displaying black over white.
Answer: Another big misconception. LCD monitors have a light behind the screen that is always on, so white is usually the most efficient color to produce; you just let the light shine through. Black on the hand requires the light to be completely blocked, and this takes energy. So, on the face of it, white would always be cheaper than black to create on LCD screens. Turns out this is mostly true, and on average, takes less than a watt of energy to do.

But there more, because some clever LCD manufacturers check how dark the screen is, and if it's very dark they dim the backlight; this saves energy. Why was it so white before and these days with colors?

I'm not really sure. And I probably should know since they build those tanks about 30 miles from where I grew up. My best guess is that they changed the foam material in which the tanks are encased after the test missions. I looked for other archive photos to see if the other 3 test missions had white external tanks. Could only find the 4th and it did. The next photo I could find was many missions later, so I'm not sure when it changed over.

Why was it so white before and these days with colors?

Goodness, everything is so white in this commercial. I simply must know what kind of bleach she uses.
